Okay, I'm a space geek. So I'm sticking on that topic just to reply to a few posts. :P

My favorite was always Saturn..sweet rings, yo. I kind of liked the orange tints it has to it; I do hope we're able to explore it further some day, although if it really is just a giant ball of gas then siiiigh..
I've always liked Saturn as well. And Cassini is getting some cool images of it already. For instance,
its hexagonal hurricane!

The problem with space colonization just as they said in Crosstime Traffic (Recommended read)is that we'll be just moving our problems here on Earth to the planet we're colonizing. D=
Somewhat true, but not completely. See, the thing with Earth, and with each of its smaller ecosystems, is that overpopulation can become a big problem. For example, in school I had learned about a species of bird/rodent in Newfoundland, whose numbers were getting too high. As a result their numbers would ultimately decline due to poor health, overcrowdedness, new diseases, not enough food, etc-which are all related when you think about it.
This is already happening with our own species at the moment. Many new diseases are becoming introduced to our societies, in addition to others becoming much more common than they were in yesteryear(West Nile, SARS, AIDS, cancer, etc). And there soon may be a lack of healthy drinking water in the coming years.
So yeah, moving some of us to another planet would be a good idea, if at least to redistribute the population. Not to mention the fact that Mutually Assured Destruction would no longer wipe out humanity in one instant. ^^

Here's what I think. Earth will end up like Venus (full of poisonous gases) and we all move to Mars (well, our children's children) and it ends up like Earth, and then of course like Venus. The end.
We'll be able to go further than that, XD. Maybe not Jupiter itself, but it has a few nice moons that we could take over(Ganymede, Europa, etc.-though Io may be a little too hot for our tastes, XD).

I'll be laughing at you from Jupiter as you guys suffocate and run out of Oxygen on earth.
Umm...Jupiter has no oxygen either. And furthermore, its gravity is so intense that you'd end up a two-dimensional form of yourself. XD
But Mars rocks the most, for obvious reasons. And that reason is Rei Hino, aka Sailor Mars. =DDD
As for the new topic, I unfortunately have no 'homework,' but I have exams coming up next week. So I'll be busy studying for most of the time until then. But after that, no school until mid-January! foxyay :D
