Dude, what. The original series was terrible. I know most people tend to be fad fans, but I always try to bug people to watch RPM since it basically does a lot of pretty awesome stuff for a kids show.

And the actor basically returned because this season is a sort of relaunching after the show was canceled (for all of a year) and they thought it would be cool to have a few visual nods to the first series. Even though I don't like Shinkenger too much, it's worlds better than Samurai. >_O

RPM! Watch it! It takes a pretty terrible comedy Sentai and somehow manages to use that footage for a dystopian setting that works out pretty great.
