I bought maybe seven books at cover price. XD The others I got at secondhand stores or jumped on when there were sales going on at the chain places.

Ooh I would much rather have spent the money on books. I would rather have spent that entire night at a book store than have to go to a prom and...well, I've had that happen to me many times. I've lost many a great novel to duck sauce at Chinese places.

It was a manga volume, not the anime, so that kind of counts XD

I've had to pay for a couple of replacement library books thanks to Pepsi and cat vomit, but fortunately that's rare.

I read "To Kill A Mockingbird" this year. I hated it. So glad I never had to read it in school. XD;

You live in Ontario, correct? The Alberta Public library system is really cool because let's say I rented out a book in High Level's public library, and then went to Calgary. I could return the book in Calgary because the system we use is province-wide. It's really useful.

And as for cosplay, I've never tried it, mostly because I don't have the money to do so. It'd be different to try, though.

It goes by regions here. D: My library only works in the suburbs in my area (so north and a bit west of Toronto). But still, since I'm right in the GTA, I haven't found anything yet that my library doesn't have, so I can't complain about the selection.

Ahh Kaga, you should visit an anime con one day! It's very fun, especially if you love anime (obviously). A cosplay prom sounds absolutely amazing. There is something similar at some conventions, like a masquerade ball or something. I'm going to one in New Jersey in a few weeks! Definitely should go sometimes, though, if not only for the experience. =3

I've always wanted to, but something's kept me from doing it every time I've attempted to make plans. I even have an amazing Ikari Gendou suit that I made myself (and grew the beard to go with it) but even that went unused T_T

I've decided that if I ever go to a con and know a PC member is going to be there, I'll dress as the Chairman to make myself recognizable XD

I've never cosplayed, but my sister and her friends have. I guess it's fun to dress up as your favorite character. /then again my sister doesn't watch anime, yet she dressed up like May. :/

I haven't talked to him before, so I can't confirm that. But, for some reason his Snow theme from before made him quite intimidating. I have no idea why, but it kinda made me steer clear.
