That's the stuff i remember, those as well as pokemon and a couple of Ghibli films. The other series from the 90's i've seen have all been watched recently. Bebop, Utena and a couple of others.

As for 80s I'm not a massive fan of space opera, that was the main force back then. Again just films and the odd series like Dirty Pair seen from back then.

00s ans 10s have given us titles like NHK!, Clannad, Lain, SZS, Gintama, Champloo, TTGL, Bakemogatari, Tokyo Magnitude, Black Lagoon, Haruhi and FLCL. Honestly can you give me a list of 80s anime better than that?

God I hope you're taking the **** out of the generic LOGH fanboy. >_>

Also, my argument is not for any decade, it was basically about not shunning recent stuff.

I preferred the anime of the 90's, 00's and a few 10's anime but so far I haven't found much anime that fit my taste...

Woah, when I first read that I thought you meant 1910, guess I'm not used to our 2010 and 2011 yet.

Depends which Anime it is sometimes I prefer old and sometimes I prefer new. Like Pokemon, Digimon, Cardcaptors and YGO. I sorta watched Dragon Ball and I only watched Sailor Moon because my friends watched (but truthfully wasn't my thing cause back then I was more Shonen than Shojo - I still am nowdays (and my friends were more girly girls)
Now I love watching Inazuma Eleven, Ouran High School Host Club and the Beyblades Metal Fusion.

I wish that their was a sudden reunion with all the main and important characters like Ritchie, May and Drew etc. And all of Ash's Pokemon new and old, realized or at Oaks would reunite. That's be one heck of an episode

I can't really see any old characters coming back in a huge Pokemon special episode, but I could see Ritchie coming back to do something in the plot. I can't see May or Drew or any of the contest people (Harley, Solidad, Dawn, Zoey) coming back either, because there are no contests in Unova. It'd be nice if there was a competitive edge to musicals though. I did like the contest episodes. :)

I share your point, I would like to see again Ritchie. Although, to be honest, I do not see Pokemon for a long time, for me, the anime lost the little charm it had.

I haven't seen Pokemon the anime for a long time, either. Whatever potential it might have had is drained away by annoying characters that make me want to break stuff whenever they open their mouths.

One character I'd like to see back again? Domino from the Mewtwo Returns movie. And the maids from that Miltank episode, but only because they were cute :P

Crap I missed the anime convo due to my retarded internet connection ._.

Well, I was born in 1995 (I'm 16) so I didn't really see any of the good anime when they aired, but when I was old enough (Within the last 4 years I got into the anime) I began watching them again so I can better rate them and better understand them now that I like anime.

Haven't seen Madoka yet, I have it downloaded tho. I guess I'm kind of eager to watch it, but I'm hesitant, it's a new art type and I don't want that to turn me off to the anime. :/

I remember back in the day when I would avidly watch Pokemon, Sailor Moon and yu-Gi-Oh (the good stuff) back in the day without even knowing what anime was. I just thought they were different cartoons with some awesome animation. :D Anyway, the first anime I heavily got into (before the "I know what anime is" era) was One Piece, back when they showed it on Cartoon Network's Toonami. Now it's still One Piece, and some others. :3

I remember those days! Yugioh, Pokemon, among others were pretty awesome. Such carefree days! XD
Then I watched OP, then Naruto then I found out it was anime while on the internet, then I was hooked by other series and now I'm here. @_@

Oooo, I'm older than you. :P

How is Madoka's art different/new? I've only seen a few pictures, but still. I might watch Madoka, but it really just depends on how I'm feeling.
