It looks like a heart attack waiting to happen :c

You should check out some of the other episodes, they're pretty amusing.

Prepares for the coming doom by stockpiling knitted pies

I'll survive for sure, then! :D

[SIZE]

Ooh and you bet you will, the proletariat shall unknowingly lead to your triumph in this world of pie and yarn.

...

I'm not quite sure what any of this means, btw.

Well, maybe yes. I am remixing some stuff, so I might do Mt. Pyre next. That will be a lot of fun.
Oh, I did Route 123:

I LOVE IT IMO.

I'm jealous. I didn't get a decent party at that time, but now I am on the way to the E4.

I can imagine the excuses from that. "Oops. My finger slipped" or "I was high."

Nice work on that! Though I should mention that since there are technically two Mt. Pyre themes, I'm talking about the funky one at the summit where you can catch Chimecho, not the lugubrious Pokemon Tower-wannabe theme in the building itself XP

Well, even though I was spoiled to heck and back on all the gym leaders months before I played Pokemon BW and knew what to get when, that whole desert area before Nimbasa still pretty much screamed HEY, YOU MIGHT WANT TO CATCH A GROUND-TYPE POKEMON RIGHT ABOUT NOW XD

Pie!

Oh no, people like that really bug me as well. When I had the money, I would buy anime, well, manga, when I could. I also even tried to buy a Kamen Rider series on DVD...but they're only available over there, so I had to buy the Japanese DVDs and those are...expensive, so I gave up halfway into that series.

I guess I've just got my nostalgia glasses on, I always have a lot of fun when I play those games. DPPt seemed like they were going for more than they were able to achieve and when they realized that, everything just became diluted.

Oh, that's nothing. There's a theme from White/Black later on that I heard and it seems to pop into my head every few days because it basically screams "Yeah, I'm awesome and you know it!" every time I listen to it.

What in the what. I think I'll stay away from all ecchi thank you very much! (though if it's as bad as you say it is, I imagine it would fit being on the show :D )

Ahahaha...hah...man. Tentacle-tastic. That's my new favorite word and I do believe I shall try to find some way to use it in every day speech.

Knitted pie is now the coolest thing I've ever seen.

Honestly, I'm just now trying to go legit with the whole dvd-buying thing, and it feels nice to actually support official releases and own physical copies of my favorite anime. A lot of it really IS expensive, though. I know that the anime market in America has collapsed and there's a much smaller buyer base than there used to be, but c'mon...at least pretend to be catering to more than a few hundred ultra-hardcore disc buyers that you know you can milk. I'm looking at you, Bandai, with your $100 Gunbuster vs. Diebuster blu-ray and you as well, Sentai filmworks, with your similarly insane pricing. I always groan when a series I enjoy is picked up by a company that isn't Funimation just because of the pricing.

BW has a theme that's driving me nuts too. I've had that lovely bossa nova from the Dreamyard stuck in my head since March.

No, you'll really want to see my drawings for the lulz. It's worse than you could ever imagine.

This should have been the 1243157th time the world has ended. Fact is, it's 10:24 PM and I'm still in one piece.

I thought the same. The moment I saw her, I just had flashes to a lot of old novels where you had a lot of servants who spoke in a really low brow but endearing manner, but I'm kinda glad she wasn't changed. There's something kinda calming about her character design to me. XD[FONT]

I don't know nothin' 'bout battlin' no pokemons!

The thing is that Lenora is that in spite of her appearance she's actually a very intelligent character. She's an archaeologist, which is pretty awesome. Although I kind of wish she had an army of Kabutops instead of little puppies XD

Oh. my. GOD. I am so glad there is food here because that video cover literally made me hungry enough to chew my arm.

Omnomnomnomnom....nom?

My little cousin chewed my hand for a good 5 minutes until I took her off. She started crying right after :/ (She's almost a year old)

I'm trying to have it recognized as a deity by the US government. Issues are ongoing and trying.

I started buying manga when I was 12, and I didn't have anything in mind like supporting the people who make the stuff. I simply wanted to be able to read it over and over and look at the art because it was around the time that I really did love to draw. Well...yeah, I think outside of Funimation, Viz is probably the only place you'll find decently priced sets. I believe people are already basically paying the same price that the Japanese do for a lot of things. XD

That...I shall have to look that one up! The one that's been stuck in my head is the champion battle theme, it's probably my favorite theme from the entire set of games.

If it's that bad, you should bug someone to make it into a theme!

...I find both of these so adorable for some reason. XD;

I used to have a bit of a chewing habit when I was little and kept chewing my thumb, and grabbing my mum's hand to chew on while going "ang ang ang ang ang ang"

Oh childhood. D:

Awww that's cute :3

I never really did anything that great in my childhood. Except for tripping some random guy down 2 flights of stairs, but they couldn't blame me, I was only 1 :x

I've bought manga far longer than I've bought anime, but I've even cut back on that because it adds up at $10 per volume. Not to mention with so many publishers going under, I get defeatist about the prospects of being able to finish any series I start, and my OCD doesn't permit me to own any series that were discontinued before finishing.

I'm pretty sure I've listened to the BW champion theme on youtube but I can't remember how I felt about it. I'm pretty sure that my favorite piece of music from any pokemon game is the RBY champion theme, but pretty much anything from RBY is my childhood distilled into chiptune bliss so it's hard to pick XP

I propose that the theme for my high school Misty art be called "Kill It With Fire".

That was basically why I stopped, though recently I've been more into books than anything else, so I've...managed to amass a fairly decent sized collection in just a year or so thanks to sales and second hand book stores. I've got about 60 manga and like 80 books and...well, I've still got a while to go before I finish all those books. XD;

Well that's not too bad, you could always have had your childhood turned into nothing but glam rock, then you would really have problems!

This needs to be done. It'll be the greatest theme ever, it could be an awesome April Fools prank.

As a lover of Vocaloids (and in the most shallow way possible, I don't even care about the music), I fail to see this as a bad thing
I'm just as shallow a Vocaloid lover as you are, and when did I say that Elesa being an ersatz Vocaloid was actually a bad thing? If anything, it ensures that I actually remember who she is (even if it's just as "that one Vocaloid reject girl"), seeing as I lost all interest in Pokémon after the second generation. And yet I still hang out on a Pokémon forum. Hmm.

It looks like a heart attack waiting to happen :c

Looked more like a one-way ticket to type 2 diabetes to me.

If I had time and an adequately-stocked pantry, I could try replicating some of the things they do.

To be honest, Bandai Entertainment wouldn't know a good distribution model even if you shoved one up its ass. The US$100 Gunbuster vs. Diebuster Blu-ray you mentioned is just one of several things Bandai's managed to screw up. They lost a ton of money on Lucky Star by insisting on limited-edition releases for all six DVD volumes (and then they cancelled the 6th LE DVD anyway), they made Kannagi and Hayate the Combat Butler sub-only releases, they jumped the gun on Gurren Lagann by saturating the market with sub-only DVDs before releasing the dub, and they actually reverted back to selling individual DVDs for K-On!.

I'm actually a bit conflicted regarding Funimation. I'm not really fond of some of their casting choices, particularly those involving J. Michael Tatum. I'm also quite concerned that they'll spectacularly screw up on the English dub for Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt.

That occurred to me as well. So I caught a Sandile. It didn't really help, but I pulled through. yay seed bby

I was also thinking that it was going to be that one. I just ripped it from my copy of Ruby and I am about to attempt a remix of it. This will be a lot of fun, seeing as my instruments are limited.

Can't wait to hear what you can come up with. Though, if you end up making something even catcher than the original I might have to jump off a cliff

I have about that many manga volumes and a ton of books laying around, but most of the books remain unread XD I'm still burned out on pleasure reading from college, so much so that the only kind of reading I can do lately is the dialogue in video games. I'm not even reading anyone's posts, just magically intuiting what you're all saying and responding appropriately. With my past reputation as an academic I'm slightly embarrassed, but I seriously can't be arsed to read! I think my brain broke permanently.

I would fight for the Kill It With Fire theme to be an April Fool's Day prank so hard. We need to get some people in on it and have them contribute their own bad fanart to the effort XD

I've read all of my manga, but the books...still got a ways to go. XD; I only just recently started getting into reading for pleasure in the last year or so, but I've really gotten into it. I've read about ten books so far this year and that trumps any amount I've ever read in my life at all. Sometimes I do get tired if I read a genre too much, was on a Star Wars kick and...that got tiring, then I tried Young Adult and...you need to take that in moderation, then adultish books and those are pretty good, though I think middle grade type books are the ones I love the most. Though, at the moment I'm reading a book called Regarding Ducks and Universes. Sadly, there are no ducks to be found at the moment.

It must happen! Could even replace all the current themes with terrible fanart themes!

Funimation are a mixed bag but they do have a few of my favourite dubs, FLCL, Black Lagoon, Champloo and by what i've seen Phantom is good as well. Sora no Otoshimono, Air and a couple of others we shall not even speak of. As for Panty and Stocking I'm thinking if the dub is handled even remotely well the series will improve, that sort of "humour" is definitely better in English.

was on a Star Wars kick and...that got tiring
I certainly wouldn't blame you for that. A whole lot of the crap set after the New Jedi Order story arc is, well, crap, and you can certainly argue that the NJO-era stories weren't even handled that well either. That goes double for anything written by Karen Traviss, regardless of era.

Oh god. Karen Traviss was the reason I got tired. I couldn't even make it into Republic Commando beyond one book. (it took me like a month to read the first 100 pages) I bought the first two, so I figure I should try again at some point. I'm mostly a fan of side stories and pre-Phantom Menace story, so I loved the Darth Bane trilogy and that Death Star novel.

Karen Traviss is the Max Brooks of Star Wars novelists, the only difference being that Brooks wanks to zombies while Traviss wanks to Mandalorians. Seriously, take World War Z, replace all references to zombies with references to Mandalorians, and you have a Karen Traviss novel.
