Ah, but Kaga, it wasn't a double rainbow.

It was better. A really really huge single rainbow. It was like a Lisa Frank folder exploded over the whole sky! And besides, Wonderful Pixy Guy's double rainbow portended a freaking tornado. I therefore we propose the auspices and omens of rainbows on a case-by-case basis.

A case-by-case basis seems fair enough. However, I must refute your point about the abnormally large size of the rainbow, even if it involved a tornado. No matter how big the rainbow is, its greatness will never measure up to the superiority of two rainbows. It's just, not possible, Kaga! One rainbow is obsolete! You must get with the times. ;_;

We had a tornado warning? I... I didn't even know, lmao. All I know is my parents kept going outside to watch the neighbours' fireworks and every time the rain would start up torrentially again, I'd have to go close the sliding doors because they left only the screen door closed. >:|

guys fireworks are loud and they are most unimpressive when it's cloudy and gross out.

Chicago had so many tornado warnings it's not even funny. ._.

Anyways, I'm off to bed, Dr. Ed. final tmrw. :x

It's amusing to see the reactions that people have to this sort of thing. After all the prep work and time that goes into it (at least the bigger ones) you get this "Oh...heh...neat..." underwhelming reaction that seems so hilarious to me. XD

Okay, I don't see anything about a tornado warning. :< I was starting to get worried 'cause the last tornado touchdown in Toronto, iirc, was like 5 minutes away from me.

Well, they aren't professional fireworks or anything. They're just the kind you buy from... from... idk. I know when my dad bought fireworks a few years ago, they were just expensive. Didn't take too much effort to set up/off aside from the price. And they aren't mine anyway so I'm allowed to be underwhelmed and unimpressed and acting like an old man whose neighbour kids are on his lawn. :D

You guys are sorta lucky, it's actually against the law to use fireworks here...so we often get the police stopping by a lot in this neighborhood on holidays just to keep an eye out. This reminds me of the first time I went to a fireworks show years ago, it was right around Christmas and it was really cold and foggy at night and...all anyone could really make out was a bit of colored fog. XD

Really? I'm pretty sure it's not against the law here. o_O I mean, there's commercial-grade fireworks which I guess places like theme parks and whatnot would use and you can't set those off in your backyard but just small firecrackers and whatnot are perfectly legal. I... think.

As I said, lucky! It's illegal to do it here within city limits unless you have some sort of performance permit. We're not even allowed to use freaking sparklers...sparklers!

Okay, for one thing, I'm surprised you were even able to read what I typed because I really butchered my statement. Almost no sleep since I returned to PC XD

But back to the important issue at hand. Can you really take yourself seriously when you argue that the quantity of a rainbow outweighs the quality? I'm disappointed by your simplistic thinking. Doubling a rainbow merely halves the greatness of each individual rainbow, and a rainbow divided against itself cannot stand!

And me? Behind the times? Ha! To claim that single rainbows are behind the times is to claim that nature itself is behind the times. If I recall correctly, single rainbows vastly outnumber double rainbows! You may have

It varies by province, and there's bylaws on top of that too I think.

Pretty sure it's legal to buy consumer-grade in all cases, but launching is another story. Sometimes not allowed in a backyard (front yard is fine though), sometimes outside of the city, etc.

It's not that the quantity outweighs the quality, but rather, the quality of the very concept of Double Rainbows exceeds the concept of a single rainbow. I am disappointed as well, you clearly are underestimating the splendor of Double Rainbows with your pointless, mundane dribble about single rainbows. I did not know you were so misguided, Kaga.

While I do have

Don't lecture me on rainbows when you can't even remember to insert Indigo! Roy G. Biv should press charges against you for the brutal mangling of his last name.

I laugh as you paint yourself into an increasingly abstract corner in your desperation not to concede defeat on this topic. If we valued ideas and objects by their conceptual greatness rather than how great they are in reality, we'd all be communists and nudists and eat nothing but candy! Whatever you wished for when you became a mahou shoujo, you should have wished for even the tiniest ounce of reason instead.

is only threatening to the naive little girls he preys on. How appropriate, then, that a Double Rainbow lover such as yourself was frightenedly pressganged into his employ. You were weak enough to be brainwashed into believing that he is your ally, and you've been brainwashed into this Double Rainbow nonsense.

I keep meaning to go check out that My Little Pony show because the ENTIRE INTERNET seems to be fangasming about it. But I never remember to when I feel like watching something and otherwise can't be bothered. :(

And I'm also scared I'll be the only person I know who's seen it and doesn't like it and then what do I say. ;_;

It's okay, I saw half of the first episode when someone linked it in the fanclub for it, cause I click links w/o a reason and I thought it was pretty stupid tbh. /is killed by all of PC :x

I'm watching it now and I'm ashamed to say I kind of like it. The animation is pretty and fluid and mesmerizing. :( But I love cartoons so I kind of expected to like the animation at least. Can't say I'm super hooked on any of the characters or anything yet, though "my continuing studies of pony magic have led me to discover that we are on the precipice of disaster" was kind of the best line ever.

It'll probably just blow over in a month or so anyways, so it doesn't really matter.
