Indian cinema is pretty colourful, some of it is pretty enjoyable. I haven't seen any Indian horror or anything, the nation is more famous for big dance numbers and stuff like that.

House is a genius, that's his thing. Some of the stuff that happens in that show is amazing though. Really enjoying it, i'm at season 4 atm.
I was supposed to watch House next year in my AP Psych. class but I dropped that to take AP Chem. :/

I'm not a fan of Indian movies, I mean they're all based around a guy trying to get a girl. And they break into spontaneous dancing every now and then which annoys me. :/

Didn't watch Stuart Little but Hugh laurie was popular over here before House. He's got such a believable US accent.

Can't disagree with that Charry, the whole Bollywood scene isn't for everyone. Tbh i expect a lot of kids growing up in India wouldn't like it.

Or Nature. /shot

Gahh, it's so hot over here, 92 degrees! And yesterday it was more like 10 degrees and raining ><

I HATE YOU WEATHER!

After the driest Spring in our history it's pouring down with rain atm. Humidity is still there though. :(

Also, animu fans. How good a job have Clamp done on redoing Saya's design. :o

I would give anything for it to rain today D:
I like it, but who is Saya?._. Which anime is she from?

Wait, there's an actual character called House? ._.

Then again there's a character in Bones called Bones :x

Sometimes entire shows are created just because the title can also be a pun on the main character's name and then a double pun on the subject matter. Crossing Jordan, Joan of Arcadia, the list goes on. It's like they think of a catchy title, extrapolate the protagonist's name and their occupation from it, and then all other details of the show come from that.

Without looking at Wikipedia, I bet you dollars to donuts that there's been a show called Murphy's Law at some point that has involved someone in law or law enforcement named Murphy and, well, lots of things go wrong.

I really like that, but then again, I haven't seen much of the Blood franchise to begin with. Should probably watch Blood+ before this premiers...

How about a buy one get one free donut deal from Dunkin' Donuts? /shot

This summer is going to be long and hot. Just the way I don't really like it :/

It's a spin off from the Blood The Last Vampire/Blood+ series. Blood+ is one of the series that got me into anime.
To continue my unltd AMV works.
Spoiler:

Edit - Kaga, it does drag on a bit but the good parts are really good. *glomps Diva*

Come to think of it I watched the first few episodes on Adult Swim a few years ago. Subject matter was interesting enough but the dub was kind of bad so I stopped. Guess I'll just resort to...uhh...other methods to see it.

Well that's just amusing. Though the American one sounds slightly more interesting to me.

Also! Since you and Lily kept talking about that Madoka show, I thought I would post this, found it on 4chan and it was amusing.

Ohhhh yeah. Somebody hire me as a TV exec right now.

Haha, I doubt any of those similarities are intentional but that's still funny. I actually created a Madoka club a few days ago but it's either still in the moderation queue or was turned down for whatever reason T_T (hey, ex-AA, what makes clubs so different than other threads that they have to be individually approved now anyway?)

I'm not the ex-AA but I'll chirp in anyways:

It's because a lot of users create clubs for small things and they either turn out to be spamfests or clubs that aren't appropriate which just clutter up the section.

I know it isn't the best reason, but I gave it a try ;;

I would watch any show you would produce. :D

Apparently a few of them are! Seems the staff behind Madoka really liked Ryuki, so they took a lot of the same setting and character types from the series and made it all girly. I still have to download that show, I am such a slowpoke.

...I have no idea! I don't believe that was a thing back when I was on the staff, and if it was, well, it's been like three years and my memory is quite terrible. I'd assume the staff is just slow because, well, we were pretty much almost always slow.

I check other clubs daily to see if the club was made. ;_;

Pfft, Madoka still beats all for me. ;_;;

I thought the Blood+ English dub was actually kind of decent, but it probably didn't help that they only had a few actors playing most of the major roles (seriously, as much as I like Crispin Freeman, it's a bit much to have him in three places at once). The real issue with that anime was its horridly slow pacing; it took 52 episodes to do what most other anime would do in 26.

While I'm at it, the CLAMP redesign of Saya bears an odd resemblance to Nina Einstein circa season 1 of Code Geass. Then again, that might just be me.
