Kind of an odd mix. Some of these were obviously resized. Totally forgot that I ever had a Burger King theme. Not pictured here is my Doc Ock avatar, which made me inexplicably popular here after Spider-Man 2 came out in theaters.

You haven't played Persona 4 yet, have you? If you haven't, get to it.

Many tutorials that are available for Photoshop can be translated for use with GIMP, but in order to make them work, you have to cut out some techniques entirely (selective coloring is the first that comes to mind) and improvise other techniques that don't have clear GIMP analogues. At least that's what I did, at any rate.

I would like to play Persona, but seeing as I don't have the console for it, I can't. Unless it's playable on the computer that is. I would also like to play Final Fantasy, from what I heard they're both good.

I tired doing that before, but they still didn't come out exactly as they should, I was probably doing something wrong, but that's too far back to remember.

Is this one from the anime Paranoia Agent? I might be wrong, but since the character is carrying a baseball bat, it's making me believe it is.

I have yet to watch Champloo, do you think I should watch it Eng sub or dub?

And how do you think the logo works in my sig?

Yeah, that's Shounen Bat/Li'l Slugger from Paranoia Agent. English dub is also fine for Champloo, it's actually one of the better dubs out there. Logo also looks fine :p

Y'know, at one point or another I think I had an avatar for every anime I watched on Adult Swim, which means there are probably Evangelion, Inuyasha, s-CRY-ed, and plenty of other avatars that I can't remember and never saved to Photobucket.

Has anyone seen Cowboy Bebop? I haven't seen it yet, but I'm starting to record it on CN and I just want to get some opinions before I start watching it.

Bebop is awesome, my other favourite Blum character. Champloo is basically just an updated version of Bebop, you can tell it has the same Director.

Yeah, it used to air on Adult Swim for a while, but they allowed the broadcast rights to expire long ago.

Also, I think you'd be a bit hard-pressed to find people around these parts who haven't seen Cowboy Bebop at one point or another. For what it's worth, it's truly a great anime, but don't let our opinions color your perception of it. See it for yourself, form an opinion of your own, and tell us what you thought of it.

I like how the text stands out more in the signature version, so my vote goes for that. But, I do like them both.

Ah okay, I need to start watching the older anime instead of the newer ones, since people have said they are better.

Yeah, Steve Blum is the greatest by far. Though, I'd also recommend giving the Japanese dub a listen after watching it in English if only for Nakai Kazuya. After voicing Roronoa Zoro (One Piece) and Date Masamune (Sengoku Basara), he's one of the certified badasses of voice acting. He's Mugen in Champloo.

Ah, okay I will! And I need to rewatch Ghost in the Shell since the last time I watched it I was pretty young and I didn't understand the concept at all. I'm betting this time around when I do watch it, I'll like it a lot better.

Honestly there's good and bad anime every decade, The years of my 3 10/10 series are 2009, 1997 and 2006 so I can't say older anime is better. There are of course classics about that you haven't seen.

I myself haven't seen a lot of the "essential" stuff like Ghost In The Shell, Kenshin ect.

Kenshin is pretty depressing. Not the content, but the fact that it was cancelled before the final arc was animated.
