Why was it canceled? I heard it was pretty popular.

Anyways, I'm going to head off now, my mom wants me to prepare something to eat for the guests that are coming over. Oh, the joys of cooking! :x

@Jorge: I'll update you how I like KR after I watch them!
Basically there wasn't enough drag time between the anime and manga, so the anime made fillers so they wouldn't get incredibly close to the manga when they started animated that arc. Problem is...no one really liked the fillers, ratings tanked, it was cancelled, and the final episode actually never aired on TV.

Have fun with all that~!

Yay! o/

Ah okay, I need to start watching the older anime instead of the newer ones, since people have said they are better.
Be careful going down that path. You might end up like me: A frothing-at-the-mouth reactionary who rewatches the same few series infinitely and has to be dragged kicking and screaming towards anything that displays even a hint of modernity.

Ah, that's a shame. Did you enjoy the anime tho?

Not to be all questiony and such, but wasn't there a series called 'Garo' you told me about that's similar to KR?

And I will!

Haha, I will, thanks for the heads up Jack!

That kinda sucks. But still I get your point, we all have some form of nostalgia glasses for some reason. xD

Just might watch some Cooking Master Boy again.

I loved it. For the most part, it's a faithful adaptation of the manga and even the original material in the third part isn't too bad. You just need to read the final arc of the manga if you ever get that far since it's the best part of the story!

I don't mind questions. XD Yes! Garo is a slightly darker show made for adults and because of that, the visuals look a bit more subdued, though they have some awesome suits. There's also a second series starting in the fall. (After like five years since the first)

I'll read the manga then! XD

I'll check that out after Agito then, thanks for introducing me to all these new series that I'll enjoy! XD

Kenshin is pretty depressing. Not the content, but the fact that it was cancelled before the final arc was animated.

Supposedly there's a new Kenshin animation project in the works, so this could change and we could finally see the Enishi arc over a decade later. However, I wouldn't mind if it was the entire manga renanimated from the beginning. A super-high-budget remake of the Kyoto arc would probably be the greatest thing ever. Shishio Makoto and his Juppongatana are still some of the greatest villains in anime history.

Somehow I don't think that they'd make a big announcement over a new OP/ED :p (though the show could definitely use them, for as much as I loved Rurouni Kenshin I thought that all of the OPs and EDs except for Heart of Sword were horrendous.)

I'm kind of rewatching a couple of series atm... CCS and the original PreCure, well I watched Cardcaptors which is so different and half watched the other with my sister. I rarely rewatch shows though, Planning on downloading 1080p clannad and Calnnad AS and rewatching in the winter though.

Ramble ramble ramble.

Oh man, I watched the 4kids butchery of CCS (Cardcaptors) as a kid and I've still yet to watch the original. I have kind of a twisted nostalgia for it like I do the 4kids dub of Yu-Gi-Oh.

Let's just say you hardly pick up on any of the Clampness through watching Cardcaptors. The fact that everyone is bi, the obvious 10 yearold dating someone in their mid 30s and the fact that almost everyone is related not really shown.

They should just air Japanese anime with subs on TV here, it would be for the better. Then again I've heard of an anime channel that does just that :/

I wish I could dub an anime here. It always looked so fun to me. o_o

Over here we have very little anime on tv. We do have the odd film on terrestrial tv in the native language, usually they're on at like 3am though (which is fine for me i guess).

Whaaaaaat? They had L'Arc-en-ciel, Bonnie Pink, and Judy and Mary do songs for that show. Awesomely awesome songs.

I know over here there's anime on sometimes. All I know is that Pokemon is aired in the mornings, and that Death Note is aired sometimes on another channel. Also I think Bakugan is aired sometimes as well.

As for paid Foxtel/Austar (= American cable/satellite) you'll probably get Naruto, One Piece, and a lot of other programs. I'm not sure if InuYasha is still going since I don't have it at all.

I want an anime channel with subs. D: Don't worry guys. If I ever get rich I'll mak sure to make a channel like that. :D Doubt it'll happen though. But don't worry, if I could... I would...
