Allow me to be the sole dissenting voice here and say that compulsively changing themes is an annoying habit. Find something you like and stick with it.

I say the same thing. Do whatever you want with your avvy and siggy. It's your account~. No one can stop you from changing your own theme.

You must have hated my randomized avatar then...

But seriously, I get a bit annoyed when someone changes their theme all the time since themes are usually how I discern people before I learn usernames. :P But it's not too big a deal, I've just adapted to identifying typing styles and paying more attention to usernames. u_u;

I don't really mind when people constantly change their avatar, signature, theme, etc, mainly because I'm one of those people who can't stick to one theme for a long period of time.

I know people who change their theme everytime they come on a forum I go on. Which in this case: everyday. So, it's annoying. And telling them to stop won't work. :/
Well, that's what makes ever user on a forum different.

I think the randomized avatar thing would be a fun option for users, but...I'm sure that won't happen ever. O:

Good thing I never tried it here then. The most time I've had with a theme was about 1 1/2 months. And that was this on another forum. I would like to use every theme I create or someone creates for me for at least one month minimum.

The longest time I've kept a theme is probably four months. Profile styling: a year and still standing.

I don't think I could keep a avy/sig theme for longer than a month. Theme profiling however requires much more :effort for something barely anybody will notice, so I change it much less often.

I think the problem I have is trying to find the right stock image to use for a theme. That, sometimes takes longer than it does to put a theme together for me.

Well, for me...I just make/find a new avatar and say: "This'll be my next theme." And move on.

I find a lot of images I like, but it's usually the same story; the quality of the image is very poor, and I'm forced to find another image to use.

But, once I do find a good, high-quality image I like and put it on a good background, with a good avatar to match, I feel fulfilled somewhat.

Oh, that's convenient. I was prepared to do an off-topic post showcasing the pictures in my signature. But now I can do it with impunity from the law.
