Is it not a rip-off how Xbox make you pay for online play?
Wi-Fi play is generally great so it's great how you don't pay for it :3

It isn't and mainly only Sony followers say it is but they pay double for their console in the first place.

Wi-fi lags alot and obviously the games to play online aren't brilliant anyway.

Actually, I think it's winning the console game race.

Most people regretted buying it though (myself included) and bought a PS3/360.

If people in Japan would buy a 360 once in a while then the 360 would be winning.

I'll find the sale charts.

Either way, in terms of class the wii has lost badly.
I regret buying mine and so do a lot of people I know.

You played something like Mario Kart Wii online? It's fantastic and hardly lags. And when it does, it only does it in subtle ways that you hardly notice.

Not true here in the States anymore (about paying twice as much), though the current PS3 has only the core gaming hardware left, with most of the bells and whistles (like backwards compatibility and more than 2 USB ports) gone. You can still turn it into a PC with an OS and an external hard drive, though.

Both the 360 and the PS3 are waaay down in price here, and the Wii isn't the cheapest home console commercially available anymore - that belongs to the Xbox 360 Arcade version at $199 (Wii's still going for $249).

Not true here anymore either (unless arcade counts but thats a really bad deal) but most sony followers will have mbought their console at double price.

I haven't seen many wii prices lately but I think the 60GB is cheaper than it here because I don't think the wii has changed price since it's release.

Here, the best deal for the current generation console would be the 360 Elite or the new PS3 slim. The XBOX (£200) is a really good deal but most people don't go for it due to the fact that you have to pay for internet and it hasn't got the prestige that the PS3 has. The PS3 (£250) is a better deal for your money in my opinion. No payment for internet and a lot of people would prefer a PS3 to an XBOX, or so I would think.

I'd say the 60GB is a better deal at £160, alot of people don't really need that much memory space.

Most people should prefer the xbox if they're neutral before as there are more exclusives.

Not to mention you can only play PS3 games on the 60gb version.

The PS3 does have it's fair share aswell. Also, I would think that someone can save up the extra £40 for a 120 GB version, double the space for only £40. I would have thought the PS3 would be prefered as it has more prestige.

I think some people also love the perks and the feeling of being "special".

But we are lucky to have a good amount of people who donate just because they like this place.

I enjoy the perks, I.E the Vip Forum but it doesn't make me feel "special".
