Huh? @_@; [/evidently missing something]

They let us cite Wikipedia until this year. XD;

Lol XD

I could just see the heading off of something, such as Beethoven:

- He was born by a monkey and a purple dragon
- He knew all the lyrics to Guns N Roses
- He died at the age of 138

Etc XD

(it was proved however, that such a thing could be done; namely that a wiki article could be changed, if there were a good number of people, who agreed with the article's correctness).

Yeah. >_> It was pretty fail. Especially at primary school, where kids would copy and paste, not even bother to take out the hyperlinks so it was blatantly obvious that they'd done so, and they'd still get away with it. :/

That's horrible! :S

Mind you, I believe the teachers I had, when they were teaching about paraphrasing or quoting, they literally sucked... (Especially with trying to describe paraphrasing). But I've developed it, for the most part, on my own, and I guess I can only commend reading, that has helped me with that (since I hadn't really practised it to get it the way it is now).

Not to mention, if something isn't properly sourced, it is considered plagiarizing. But also, making a basic quote-explanation-argument is soooo boring too...

What I love doing is having the quote either do two or three of these things, then I'd pitch in my own 2 cents. But I'd never have it in the format: Bob said "quote". This means blah blah...

If I were a teacher marking that, I'd probably cringe, though it would still be acceptable.

I read stuff on the internet, get the general idea of what it's talking about and then put it in my own words.

Also, I hate when you're doing group work and your friends use crappy grammar and you're like "omg! :<"

My friends ignore spellcheck and then I have to go through all our work and fix the spelling errors and grammar fail because it urks me so much. :[

I guess people get used to MSN spelling and they use stuff like u and 2.

Group work for me usually consists of me doing all the work. :P It's easiest for everyone that way - the grade is still good and the others don't have to do any work. ;D

It's the opposite for me. I just fix all the errors they make and we're good.

I thought it meant hurt. Wow, I do suck at understanding MSN talk. :[

Ugh, another busy day yet again. :( Woke up earlier than the normal home schooler to get as much work done before I had to get ready for work.
Gotta be there at 10:30 until 5PM. :( Hopefully there is another volleyball game tonight, though. >:D

I'm super tired, though. @___@ Stayed up until 1:30AM watching LOTR and started The Two Towers but ended up falling asleep. :(
Time to go take some stupid old lady's order. =P

Which reminds me. I need to apply for a job at EB Games.
