Well you see, I did consider this but as it stands and as it will stand for many years to come, there is a rather big drout of jobs. I mean sure I could leave with 6A1's on my leaving exam but at the end of the day, I'll have to pay my way through another 3-4 years of college working at a low end job. With the Lisbon Treaty now being under effect in most European countries, means that Ireland will get the bad end of it. We're a small country with a low population. If you consider the power Britain & Germany will have compared to us if we vote yes to stay within certain sectors in the EU, you will see why most will be unhappy. Germany -18% of power UK - 14% Ireland - 0.8% all with a 1.84 minimum wage which is about £1.30 or $2 an hour.
Democracy is screwed here, all we have is luck(I'm flattered), and it truely is, who you know, not what you know now.

Oh wow, here comes mr. tough man himself. I love how you just launch yourself ino a thread and act as if you think you know everything. Either learn to post or gtfo.

No matter what you may think, a minimal knowledge is needed to succeed in life. It isn't as easy as someone saying "This book is great! Let's publish it! >:D *Becomes famous worldwide and earns you millions*"
You don't start with a huge leap like that. Usually, you climb your way up to the top.

And as for you Ctep, don't reply to him. I can only imagine this will turn into a flame war, albeit some logic behind it.

This is why I hide my posessions. Especially from certain family members.

I can barely find a good hiding place. My mum is almost OCD about keeping the house squeaky clean.

Oh I know, Believe me I know. It used to be the case where if you had no qualifications you didn't get anywhere in life and I most certainly abided by the accusation. I will be staying in school but it is just a draw back for me until I can get out on my own!

Yes, for him Dicussion < post count.

Anyways, I am pissed. My cousin took and sold one of my games without asking.

Then you'll have to teach him a lesson, either shout him down or if that doesn't work, use violence. (b ")b

This doesn't work if your cousin is older than you, btw.

How? is he 18? o.O I know at least around where I live you gotta be 18 or you gotta have a parent sign off on it....

He has a whole seven years on me. How else can he sell the game if he is under my age?
You lost it, by the way.

I have never skipped i class before.

Mika I think you missed the context of the discussion, he wasn't talking about anything regarding legalities as far as I know xD;

My foster brother took my copy of Emerald and BURIED it. Yes, BURIED it.

He ended up having to buy me two new copies. :pink_boogie:

That is quite a silk tongue you have there.
Or maybe you just threatened to beat him up D;

You Yankees certainly do have strange ways of trading, you have to be a certain age to sell things?
Wow...
Here most people sell video games to other pupils at school. There are plenty of video game stores that would buy it from you aswell.

mhm. GameStop and places like that you gotta be 18 to get cash or store credit for it.

That's crazy, I trade my games in all the time here xD
They don't assume I've stolen them from my cousin though so maybe that's the issue in US, is that a common thing? Where cousins steal goods from one another?

I picked up a leaflet in my local GAME about selling games, and apparently you (or possibly your parents) need ID if you want to sell used games because of the cash or something. o_o;

Yeah, you have to be I believe 17 or older to buy "M" rated games, when I reserved Call of Duty Modern Warefare II I had to show them my ID, I found it pretty strange as well. On the bright side, I pre-ordered my American version of HG/SS very early. :D

I know some kids that got away with buying "M" rated games.

So I was at hollywood video a few weeks ago, and noticed that they sold pickles in a bag. Am I the only one who is curious and disgusted as to why this is in a store?

... No, you're not the only one. o_O;

I was quite pleased when I bought Persona 4 though- it had a 16+ rating on it, and I didn't get asked for my ID! :D -looks younger than nineteen- T_T;
