Our teachers try to stop us from using it and make us read books to get a lot of our information. That doesn't stop most kids, though. Wikipedia is very resourceful.

None of this 'no child left behind' nonesense, if a child doesn't bother to learn something, then they can go to another school or w/e.

However this is one of my fave vids in regards to an education system, allowing parents to remove kids from classes they deem to be controversial (kind of like an extension of the whole sex ed thing):

Wikpedia is good to check trivial info like episode summaries, countries, etc. However, if I want more reliable sources for my business papers and such, I don't trust it. XD

GIMP crashes on you, really? Never does that for me. In fact, the only time it's ever closed is when I'm installing new fonts, because otherwise it doesn't work, and I cbb opening it every time I want to do something,so it sits there empty most of the time.

... not that I've tried it but I base this theory upon Fireworks being amazing and Photoshop only being good for colours. XD;

If you get the hang of how GIMP works, you can be able to make nice graphics out of it. I know some people at the Graphics section that use GIMP and are able to make really great ones. I'm still working on it. XD I would like to get Photoshop and Fireworks, but I'm a uni student, meaning no money. Will be a bum by the time I graduate. :<

I'm assuming gimp is as confusing to use as photoshop. XD
