He's not failing in any way... except in living up to our parents's standards. His report card looks more like the bra sizes in a lingerie store in Hollywood. XD;
Test scores only account for 50% or less of the grade, usually. And if it's anywhere near that share, the homework actually has to be done in order for a student to be successful on the tests.
They gave us more time to prepare for our GCSE's.
They do their damage in the 10th, we cover 75% of our 3 year course work in that grade, just imagine the **** loads of homework.
We had a lot of standardized testing to prepare for... and no homework reduction was given, because we're supposed to have learned the stuff on the tests in school.
My high school usually did exceptionally well on standardized tests... 'cept new ones that started being taken one or two years ago (like a new math one they just recently implemented, which the school didn't have the appropriate curriculum for until two years before it was started).
