In graduate school, a "C" is pass. Some professors don't even hand out "D"'s and skip directly to "F"'s. Furthermore, in our program, you can only get two "C"'s before you get kicked out of the program.

There's also a G grade, papers that are tossed away because of unreadable handwriting.
