It wasn't the employees, it was an official book. XD; I bought it so I could have a reference for Pokemon name pronunciations but now it just makes me rage for the pronunciations of Cherubi and Cherrim. (Though I'd already seen an English clip of the Pokemon anime with Cherubi in it so I knew its pronunciation already...)

The book has cute art though, at least. The Cherubi in it is adorable.

Another one that bugged me was Luxio. I always pronounced it Loo-she-oh since the xi sound is often a sh sound. :( But no, apparently it's LUCKS-ee-oh.
 
.... Luxio is a Pokemon? IS THAT RELATED TO SHINX?

I think it's because I didn't really play Pearl that much. XD; Nor bother learning names.

I remember Giratina and Heatran. The latter purely because of Larry's username kinda. XD;

AND PALKIA.

I always pronounced it 'lucksio' for some reason o.o But this is coming from the kid who though Xatu was "ecksatu". Hahaha.

And Erica you must tell us what this magical book is :< Amazon link if you are uber amazing.

Oh and Arceus will always be ARE-SEE-US to me.
 
Xatu is "Zah-too". I learnt that years ago because my friend needed extra help in reading when we were kids and asked her tutor. :3

But uhh... the book is "Pokemon Sinnoh Handbook". ISBN... oh, there are two wtf. D:

It's one of those lame handbooks but it comes with a poster and the art is top-knotch as always. I've been meaning to pick one up for ages ever since the last one I got which was for half of Gen II. XD;

edit: Oh, right, dropped ISBNs because I'm going to bed RIGHT THIS MINUTE and don't have time to search for amazon links. ;_; I have to get up early to do Calculus baaaw.

I MISS ALL MY OLD POKEMON STUFF.

All I have is probably some of the games, my sticker books and a Pokemon top I wear to bed!

I remember this game board, that was awesome... and my Pokemon figurines <3 And Pokemon cards... and Pokemon posters... and probably more. :(
 
All of my cards and figures and what few books I had are currently in storage. I think I still have my old came cartridges lying around, though.

I still collect the cards at times... but not often. I have a Flygon plush and still play the games. Plus I also have a bunch of pokemon movies. :3

I'm not into pokemon like I used to be. My anime interests have become so much more advanced. XD

Um... least favourite, idk.

Speaking of the movies, I have the first two on VHS lying around somewhere. As for the show itself, first 30 or so episodes on ten VHS tapes. I doubt they're actually in any condition to be watched, though.

I've also largely moved on, though there were times I'd play through my old games largely out of nostalgia. That's about it, though.
 
Maybe you like Torchic? XD I hated Torchic in the anime. So... weak [/is a dark side jedi]
