Why? Hobbies are something you do for fun.

And besides, I've won money at Pokémon tournaments. My friend who plays the drums has spent a lot of money in classes and has never gotten any income with his band. Not to mention that "playing the drums" isn't going to help anyone's resumé either, unless he's applying to be a musician, which he doesn't really need a resumé for.

Sorry, I just fail to get your point.

Heh...It depends on ones circumstances. I would certainly play more FPS or maybe some other console RPG's if I had a console other than a DS. I'm not rich, and my access to a PC is very sporadic for ROM's.

So I make do with what I have.

While I agree with what you say. Let us be realistic and say it depends on one's taste. WTHeck are we here in PC chatting instead of "Exercising" "Doing HW" and all that good stuff?

Hay...I can never have the time to properly EV train so...AR
 
Whoever said you could only have one hobby? I play guitar, have a band, play gigs every now and again, I draw, I play tennis, AND I play Pokemon a lot.

It's strange... but I'd more then likely find more time playing Plat then Fallout. I just can't get into Fallout 3....
BUT! I am still waiting for the day where Pokemon meets Oblivion. Where you can have this big world, catch Pokemon and so on in an Oblivion type style. XD

I would buy a Wii again if they came out with something like that...that would literally blow my mind...

Well, technically Pokemon is already at that point. After you beat the Elite 4, the Battle Frontier, and even get all the Pokemon, there are still things left to do. You could try and win the daily Masterball loto, get points at the Battle tower, or even try and get a shiny Pokemon, EV train your Pokemon, etc. Absolutely NO ONE has gotten everything, including getting all obtainable Pokemon in shiny form in a legit way. I guess that Pokemon does end at one point when you have beaten everything, but no one has gotten and beaten everything before, there's too much to do.

Mutants, robots, and People's Liberation Army remnants in the irradiated ruins of Washington, D.C. What's not to like?

They should try making a Pokémon game in the style of the Fallout series. Hostile and heavily mutated Pokémon rampage in the irradiated wastes of Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh as the remnants of humanity eke out meager existences in the ruins of their once-great cities.

Erica still has her gradient username? I haven't even noticed.

David also had a black and blue username for a brief period earlier today. I should have taken a screenshot of it when I still had the chance.
