I joined cause of ShinyGold. :D Which means my first two months of PC-age was strictly in the ROMHacking forum. I couldn't care less about any other forum. XD

I'm never in Strategies and Movesets. Or Shoddy Lounge. But since I started Shoddy, I should go there ^^ Oh, and I've barely ever even glanced at the Wi-Fi center.

I wish I could do competitive battling, but I don't have Wi-Fi.

Hehe, I actually just changed my belly button ring! It's so pretty now, and I was getting so bored of the one I had in. Although, I'm not supposed to be changing it, cause then it takes longer to heal, and it bled a tiny bit when I changed it, and it hurt a bit too. But now it's a sparkling medium green and I think it was worth it to change cause I love looking at it.

I just got Plat..and I'm seeing some wacky Battle Vids in the GT. XD

How about Pokemon Sun? Moon? PhD?

There wasn't much people in my local Gamestop on Platinum's release on Sunday. I'm lucky the GameStop here doesn't cater to too many people. XD

But I did get into a "discussion" to the sales guy about the so-called Childishness of Pokemon. D=<

While I was picking up Platinum on Sunday from Gamestop...The employee started the usual reaction "PEOPLE STILL PLAY THIS?" and "ZOMG! The strategy guide is bigger than Fallout's!" I was like @_@ and started saying...."A lot of people still play this you know" and "Don't give me that, it's an underground thing"

And he was like "Oh I'm going to rebel against my parents by playing Pokemon"

LOL. XD

Lesson: The stereotype is still alive and well. :<

As for CompBatt. I want to get into it. But I don't have time. =/

Yes well I agree there is an unneeded stereotype around Pokemon.

I know a lot of people older than I who still play it, and I'm 16.

But sometimes it's a bit much to see some 25-year old picking up Pokemon to play it.

Like get a hobby.

Seriously.

I was a bit embarrassed myself to go pick up Diamond.

But I think

it's easier

to just play it on a ROM.

Don't have to pay for it either.

I think that one should find a hobby that would actually get them somewhere in life, like playing an instrument or a sport.

Not gunna impress anyone with your shiny EV trained Lv.100 Charizard on your resume.
