Heh, I never really thought about the advantages of short hair until I read that book.
And Aura, READ WORLD WAR Z! >=D
Looks interesting. Where can you get that?

The Zombie Survival Guide may or may not be useful as a general survivalist's manual, but World War Z is complete and utter BS from start to finish.
From what I've been hearing from my friends who happen to be Twilight fans, the movie is horrible in comparison with the books. What's up with everyone and Twilight?
Conversation I had with a friend said:Friend: I went to see Twilight last night.
Me: Aiych, how was it?
Friend: Sucked, as expected. But I had to see it as I loved the books, and it was only $4.
Me: Wow, that's too much....
Friend: ROFL! But so true.
I'll vote in thepopularity constestMotM at the end of the month.
No sense voting in the beggining, really xD
@Netto:[I forgot to multiquote xD] I'll probably read it soon, seeing as my friend has both. :D
Zombies are a civilization-threatening force only because people like Max Brooks write them as such; no halfway competent military would respond to zombies in their home territories the same way the United States Army responded to zombies at Yonkers in World War Z.Why do you say that? (First criticism I've seen from anyone about that book) It was well written IMO. It was thought provoking on how our governments and us masses would react on "Non-conventional" threats. =P No need to start Farenhiet 251 here you guyz. What's up with everyone and Twilight?

The last book I read was Deltora Quest and that was.. six weeks ago. :3
That's not saying much. The books were laughably horrible to begin with...

Needlessly nihilistic and hamfisted "political commentary" is perhaps the greatest conceit of zombie fiction.
By the way, it's Fahrenheit 451; you're about 200°F off from the temperature at which paper burns.
Oh yes we're about to start reading Orwell's 'Animal Farm" for English tomorrow. Can't wait. XD
I have no problem with well-written political commentary. I have severe problems when the commentary is so hamfisted that it violates suspension of disbelief and general common sense.Obviously so... so you did read it. XD But yes the Battle of Yonkers could have definitely been better written.
Well just because it's laden with political comentary, doesn't mean we have to kill the darn thing. It's a "Dark Humor Fiction" Book and should be regarded as such. Check the Genre. =P No need to get all serious. It says "Fiction" reading it is just for fun. ^_^
