IF we even get to 2015.

Yeah, I believe in good luck and not in bad luck. The "end of the world in 2012" is considered bad luck, IMHO, so therefore I do not believe in it.

Nice planet the previous generation is leaving us...

I was thinking the opposite, actually XD At least America has a good president now. The last one wasn't really that helpful ^^'

Though, I'll be trying to help people not kill others and whatnot, 'cause as long as they're seeing me in my psychologist's office, I'll make sure they don't turn into a-holes who commit felonies.

Because guns are cool. And wars are, too. (except when you take part in them)
I'd take part in a war to prove my honour and valour as part of the young generation of upcoming warriors in this world. Nobody regards those ideals any longer though, sadly. I would have thrived in the days where fighting was a livelihood, and fought at an arm's length.

War is just a way to let one country let out their anger at another country, most of the time for something stupid.

Thus, war is almost always pointless.

Actually, greed and hatred would be more appropriate than mere anger. Also, there's that thing we like to call "self-defense."

In my history homework that I spent the last four hours doing, we were introduced to fundamentalism. In reading about it more, I came to find that I believed that fundamentalism is really the reason that many wars are started.

It also happens a lot because of territory. That's how the oldest wars often started.

Wars can be fought for anything...

I want your virgin girls.
I want your island as a base.
I want your jew gold.
I want your oil.
I want your people to believe in my god.
I want your food.
I want your people.
I want your soldiers.
I want your trade routes.
I want worldwide unity.
I want you, traitor.
I feel like it because my country is four times the size of yours.
I feel like it because you are barbarians.
I feel like it because you are black/arabs/whatever.
I'm a vassal, this is a proxy war.
I'm a pirate, this is a raid.
You see, my country used to be this big, so...

You forgot,

I'm an insane leader who likes to watch people suffer.

I'm not sure how often this would be a reason, but it's definitely possible. Just watch Now and Then, Here and There.

Never did understand that anime. All I remember was a kid going into a weird reality where kids were slaves and there's a girl he has to save

You forgot 'I want your nukes'.

I watched it when I was 15, so it's message was very straightforward to me. If anyone is thinking of watching it, I have to warn that it's quite dark.

Back when Now and Then, Here and There was still being broadcast on Sci Fi, I was only able to watch half of it before my TV got busted; by the time I was able to get it replaced, it had already gone off the air. From what I saw, I really didn't mind the dark subject matter.

A country without nukes doesn't invade a country with nukes for fear of anihilation. A country with nukes doesn't invade another country with nukes because they have their own already; if they want better ones they can negotiate the sharing of technology. Failing that, espionage is the obvious route to persue, nobody declares war for the sake of stealing a strategically near useless weapon.
