TCTI = DCC.

Seriously, random spam without post count is awesome.

But the DCC actually has topics that everyone can comment on. TCTI is (like Chibi said) more like an MSN chat.

I'm really pissed off.. My friends are such liars..

Is it just me, or do I sense a little DCC and TCTI tension around here? O.O
Honestly, hasn't that same tension been here for a while? Since... you know, a certain sequence of events? D: Suppse it was that post count raid.

I don't see why you guys are going on about how TCTI is similar to DCC.
I mean TCTI is a game thread where the point is to post a number and not break the four word rule, not have a conversation. Fake sigs with the random words in them still gets deleted but still. That would be why the conversations that do happen are random.
It's quite amazing how people like t talk about the similarities… why can't you guys just not care about it. Itis just a forum after all.

Anyway lets go with friends and liars…
Maybe there is a reason why they lie, like to protect your feelings.

People make DCC and TCTI similar. Both has random people posting random things.

Erm, that's called White Lie. Protecting someone you love by lying.

Though you lie to protect someone, if they find out, it'll devastate them.

Like the old saying goes, "The truth hurts".

Also munna has a very good point. :D

Mhm, I agree, lying to protect someone isn't the best thing to do. As we both know, (in this case, it was failure to keep something a secret and then saying you did that to protect someone, but it all relates) it isn't the best thing to do. Whether it be for the smallest thing, such as saying you didn't sneak on the computer in 35 degree heat (which I'm guilty of), to a big thing such as stealing someone's bank card (with someone... being a friend and you using the money for your own pleasure), lying isn't the best. This is because in one way or another, someone will realise the deceit and one simple thing done for the good of someone will unravel and turn into something that you never wanted to occur.

However, honesty isn't the best policy either. When telling someone of the initial occurance, the reaction wouldn't be worthwhile. This leaves the dilemma of what is right in the first place; attempting to break the trust of someone or lying to cover up something when the truth about it is probably better. Though the aftermath caused by telling the truth may not be worth having a clean conscience. All in all, lying is best, but only depending on the situation at hand.

Mine was fantastic. I assume I wasn't here for the recent DBEs though xD

I've been gone all day.

On the plus side, I just realized I'm 18 rep points away from my second bar (b'-')b
I'll get there some day xD
