I liked Pokemon Crater (PC lawlz), but I hate all the remakes that keep coming out. Unless it's the same domain name (or close) or it's absolutely official, then I'm not buying.

I like Pokemon Crater, that is until it shut down.
I remember trying to battle all the gym leaders, never paying attention to all the trainers you could find in the overworld map.
Apparently everyone I've battled had either a team of lv.100s or their starter. How nice.

I think I vaguely remember either playing Crater or just reading about it. Was it just an online Poke-world? They reeeeally need to make an official online Pokemon game, what with all the tools they have nowadays there's no excuse not to have a multiplayer universe like that. There'd even be better hack prevention methods and what not. EV training and IV breeding the hardcore way, easier access to all the TMs and items and a giant trading market..pretty much like a Poké-Runescape, cep't better. XD

I still didn't find the energy to get most of my Pokemon over level 90, never less all of them past 80.
At least it's not like TPPC, where you can just keep going past 100 forever.

That thread is what brought me to PC. I was googling Pokemon MMORPG's and came across that topic. I lurked for about a month in that topic, then joined :D

I played Pokemon Crater for like 20 minutes, and never went back to the site. My name was "Alakazam_from_PFU," which PFU standing for Pokemon Fan Universe(a forum which, like Crater, is no longer in existance). I dunno why I went with the name. I guess it sounded cool at the time, XDD.

As for Pokecommunity the game, I WANTZ ITEH NOW!!!111oneone :D

Ah, Pokemon Crater. What very old memories that place brings back. And you definitely were not the only one that experienced the extreme loading time.

Thinking about it, I do have good memories of it. It's just the loading time kind of ruined some of it, but at least there was the Gym Leader place (Unless I'm confusing it with another, similar game).

I'm not positive I ever had the composure to endure that website long enough to advance that far. :laugh:
