Movie pirating is really common in Australia, but people don't get caught so much.
 
I've never known anyone to get caught pirating in America.
I really think, for all the laws, that they just don't care enough.
 
Well, the piracy rate's probably going up due to the crap economy lately. People just don't have enough money to pay for this stuff.
 
If only there wasn't an FBI out there that can track every single site you've ever been to, your address, your downloads and that stuff. D:

I think my university went a bit further than that - they physically didn't allow downloading on torrents and p2p networks. @_o Try all you liked, but the download wouldn't go at all.


And maybe I've just been looking in different places, but I've seen plenty of instances where people were caught downloading a movie or some such thing, and got a warning about it from their ISP. So people do get caught, I just think most of them aren't publicly known (not everything is a huge court case like the RIAA seems to like doing).

Thats nothing compared to my old computer.. I had more than 400 different virus' on my computer. It got so bad that random porn pictures would pop up every thirty seconds. I blame stupid advertisement from Guild Wars Guru (I forgot to log on one day QQ).

I've never known anyone to get caught pirating in America.

I went to go see Transformers with my grandfather two summers ago. The ticket booth guy and his friend went into the movie with two video cameras. I wouldn't mind a person doing that, but a movie theater employee. Now that just shows how horrible piracy has gotten.

I stayed the night at my best friends house. We went over to our friend Elon's house, and took a bunch of stuff lying around outside his house [Garbage cans, bikes, ladders, snowboards] And blockaded all the doors to his house.
It was so fun.
 
I got an iPod Touch and downloaded movies and stuff onto it.

It was good fun.

OMG SCHOOL CAMP TOMORROW!!!!!
 
Studied, watched anime, played video games, lacked sleep. Then today I went to the mall to pick up my Giratina figure and do some grocery shopping, went out for lunch, and took out the recycling and garbage. Now I'm back to studying as best I can on 3 hours of sleep. XD;

This weekend was pretty boring.

I'm well aware, but with my internet provider they're only going to start in six months time, by which time my pirating life will have ceased to exist.
 
Ah. My weekend?

Well, I got into The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya =D *shot* I'm on the third volume of the manga, and I've only watched the first chronological episode XD

But other than that, I did nothing but play video games, do a bit of work (as in housework), and read Teen Titans comics (the ORIGINAL Teen Titans, mind you).
