The highest level math class I've had so far is College Algebra. I'm dreading having to take Calculus I and II. I have to have them for engineering, though.

I'm in the 9th grade, but I'm in 10th grade math, which is Geometry in the first semester and Trigonometry in the second. I hated Geometry XD But Trigonometry is really fun, I don't want it to end :[

I don't like SOHCAHTOA. It reminds me of Touka Koukan.

I know it's easy! That's why it bothers me so much that I can never remember them. D8

Twelve people talking about math, XD. I kid you not, but that's exactly how many people were in my grade 12 Geometry class. =P

My grade 12 geometry class was pretty small too. I think we had maybe 15? I didn't like it much. My teacher shipped me with my best friend. (He was the first person who shipped us ahahaha.)

We didn't bother correcting him ever because we got away with cheating and stuff in that class because of it, somehow. loool.

I have my math midterm tomorrow, so why don't you all explain to me complex integration techniques such as partial-fraction decomposition and trigonometric substitutions? *takes out pencil and paper*

Damn, you know, I probably would if I weren't on my netbook where typing a lot can be a pain.

I love partial fraction decomposition. It's SO much fun.

Partial fraction decomposition is so not fun at all...Especially when you have to do polynomial long division if it's an improper fraction. *confuses half the community* XD

Eh...It's annoying to see that I have Algebra 2 while one of my other classmates has Pre-Calculus. :<

Yep, that's the one. I'm almost embarrassed to say that back when I worked at a Chinese food place taking orders, during the slow times when I had nothing to do, I'd make up polynomials and divide them by other polynomials. 8| I honestly find it really fun.

Polynomial long division isn't my favorite, although it's pretty easy stuff. I'm just worried about trigonometric stuff, like memorizing their integrals and remembering all the identities. X(

complex integration techniques: Remember to add the "+C" at the end or you fail. =P

partial-fraction decomposition: Don't mess up on simple factoring, or you fail. =P

trigonometric substitutions: I did this last summer, and I forget it already. So I fail. =P


And Erica, there was only one girl in my class, and I hated her, XD. One time we were paired together for some project, and I stealthily went up to the board and switched her name with someone else's. XDD

All of that is good advice and... haha, I did trig substitutions like at the beginning of my semester (January) and I already forget them. I should go relearn them. x_X
