Esperanto has quite a way to go before it can surpass even Italian or Vietnamese, much less English. There are estimated to be only anywhere from 100 thousand to 2 million fluent speakers of Esperanto currently; compare with the aforementioned Italian (62 million fluent speakers overall), Vietnamese (68 million fluent speakers overall), and English (roughly 340-500 million native speakers, depending on what statistics you look at).It's the most widespread human-engineered language in the world. For a while it was taught in schools because people thought it would become the next universal language, surpassing English. It's apparently made to be easy to learn and pick up and it just seems so interesting. I really want to look into it.
You missed my point but thank you for the statistics I skimmed. :]Esperanto has quite a way to go before it can surpass even Italian or Vietnamese, much less English. I doubt the Hawaiian language is the hardest in the world. I've actually read that Mandarin Chinese is the hardest to learn in writing, reading, and talking. If you want, I could find the link for you.I'm just learning the Hawaiian language and I must say it's the hardest language to learn because it includes only a few consonant letters like around two or three.
You cant say it's the hardest unless you tried to learn the rest. But it does seem difficult. Not as difficult as Mandarin now.I'm just learning the Hawaiian language and I must say it's the hardest language to learn because it includes only a few consonant letters like around two or three.
OR YOU COULD USE THE FREE ONLINE THING THAT IS EXACTLY LIKE IT I MENTIONED EARLIARI need to learn Japanese, so I don't have to worry about finding dubs for anime. XD;
Unfortunately they don't teach that in school. ;;
