This is why I am not religious. The Bible (and other religious books) preach about equality then go right around and say "If you're not ___ and ___ and ___ you're going to hell."
That's why I don't believe in Hell. Not all Christians do. I believe that the idea you'll go to the most awful place imaginable and burn there for Eternity, is a really bad motivation to not do bad things. Do good things because you want to, yo.

See, I don't see myself as religious, but I do believe that everything happens for a reason, and that what goes around, will come around.

While you said you were not religious, it makes me wonder if there are those who believe in fate and heaven/hell. This could be impossible however, as it would mean that someone was fated to go to heaven or hell, regardless of the choices they made (that at least, their actions warranted them to facing hell for it).

I have no problem with who people love. Be that men or women. What I do hate is that sometimes some gay or lesbian people believe they need to have special treatment because they are "minority." Or the fact that many gays, bisexuals, or lesbians (that I know, anyways) tend to stick to only gay and lesbian friends and seem unwilling to make heterosexual friends. I don't give a crap who the minority is. I don't give a crap who everyone else wants to love. Honestly, why should I? It's their choice.
I hate when teenagers, especially in highschool, go through that whole "I'm bixsexual" fad just because it'll give them attention and the fact that the "stupid men" like mentioned before, would find it more attractive.

So yeah, be gay. I don't care. Just don't parade it in your BDSM outfits with your damn ball-gags and leather leashes like those grown men do downtown on Jarvis street.
Sexuality shouldn't be a popularity contest.
Agreed, but there is a gene that makes a person more likely to be gay.
I doubt anyone would say "I chose to be discriminated against."

To put it accurately, I'm agnostic. :P Heaven and Hell might just be fabrications to make people behave themselves as they live their lives, but it's nice to think that we do still exist once we die.

Just because someone is gay doesn't mean that they can use that for an excuse for how they socialize in public or just with other people in general. They should still be mannerly and act appropriately and mature towards everyone.

A-and.. h-holy.. there's this crazy freaking thunder outside o_o

That might be the whole point of the Bible. A false story to set an example for people to behave themselves. Like a children's book. I remember hearing that somewhere..

That's what I figure. That Heaven and Hell was "made" just to keep people in control.

I also am into a bit of Buddhism (there are some misconceptions with that religion too).

I actually had a really interesting conversation in my office at work the other day about religion. We all went on a wikipedia spree (haha perhaps not the most accurate of reference sites) and I think this best suits my thoughts:

Apathetic agnosticism (also called pragmatic agnosticism) is the view that thousands of years of debate has neither proven, nor dis-proven, the existence of one or more deities (gods). This view concludes that even if one or more deities exist, they do not appear to be concerned about the fate of humans. Therefore, their existence has little impact on personal human affairs and should be of little theological interest.

It seems that every time I decide, "Oh hey, let's see what's up in the Daily Chit Chat!" I walk into the conversations I'd rather stay out of, but I post anyway. I'm a southern baptist and I'll say no more. But I know all of you will make those baptist jokes like "PRRAAAAAIIIIIISSSEE JEEEEEEEESUSSSSSS!!!!!!"

I personally don't care what religion people are or what they believe. I'm not going to shove my religion down peoples throats. I just can't do that. It's awkward and...just no.

That's actually how I think too. o:

We are like..people who think alike. o:

I actually think it must just be really nice to be sure, so good on you. @_@

Reminds me of 3 different views about God's ummm all-knowingness, whatever that's called (I forget). Anyway there are those who believe that humanity is being punished or has to cleanse themself of it (sinned at birth), and that God is like the puppeter.

The other belief if I recall is something like the use of Jesus, helping with a messiah.

The third is like God watching at a distance.

Man... I forget a lot of this stuff XD

One scary movie though: Jesus Camp (I believe it is also on youtube)

This is what I believe. Thank you, I didn't know there were more in-depth levels of agnosticism.

Kidding of course.

I will admit there are feminie gays that go all up your face with "OHHH SSSSTTTTTTTTTTOOOOOPPPPPPPPPPP IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTT."

But I can't believe homosexuals are steryotyped as such just because of these kinds of people. :/

And that some think sexuality is a choice.
That's kind of low to think that.

I know it's about peace, but the leaders are really bad, and the root of evil is supposedly being connected to humans. Buddhist countries became better after CHINA took over.

We should have a AAA club.

Apathetic Agnostic Alliance Club.

Please just don't. An Agnostic is only good as a pseudo-prefix. Agnostic atheist and agnostic theist.

I was being not-obviously sarcastic.
