That's the only way I can do maths without getting bored to death. >_<

Right now while the class is struggling with angle geometry, I believe, I'm doing calculus. :<
I love how you're 13 and in Geometry while I am 16 and in Algebra 2 which is only the class right above Geometry and that is normal here. God I hate the U.S. education system.

Though in High School, the dependency on the Ti-83+ graphing calculator, was too excessive, which also put me off.

I wasn't too bad at geography in our social studies class (geography + history in one class, not like America), we did Canada it would seem almost every year, but also several other countries and times.

Like Ancient Greece, Japan, and China. Can't remember the rest though now.

America's education system is failing though it would seem. :S

Er, the kind of geometry that's being done is pretty simple - I doubt it's the level that you're talking about. :P (Also, here, we do an entire year of a subject called "Mathematics", in which we do everything - geometry, algebra, statistics, etc.)

Definately.

Alot of people in my school dread some lessons because of certain teachers. None of whom teach me. D:

Everyone hated my French teacher because she was strict (they nicknamed her Madame Guillotine XD), but she taught me for like... Five years, and she turned out to be one of the nicest people I've met. XD

Beat those kids up for making awful nicknames >:(

Not awful as in mean, but just plain bad.

Nah, even the other language teachers referred to her as that. XD I did almost lose it when the kids in my school made my Spanish teacher cry. >_>; She was also a really sweet person.

My French and Spanish teacher (Same Person) gives us homework every lesson. That doesnt sound strict but we generally only get homework once every month or never in our other classes.

I have her before lunch now aswell and she lets you out late. ¬_¬

gah. those kids were good compared to me. when i was in grade 1, i made my teacher quit. i was the devils child back then. not that i was mean (im actually a very kind person, and i always have been), but i was so hyper. and she saw hugging my friends really bad or something (and so did my friends) x3

Wow. o_O; What year are you in, if you don't mind my asking?

Yeah, but you were only a kid. o: These kids were like... 14/15, and it wasn't hyperactivity. XD

I had an awful maths teacher in Year 9 who would literally teach us by giving out hand-outs with questions on them that we were supposed to figure out the answer to, despite never being told how to make the calculations. x_x;

Quite a few of my math teachers have been like that. I guess they just expect you to know everything. X_X

Awww, that's horrible! How dare those little brats? I hate kids like that!

I have one teacher who everyone hates. I love her though, cause she has the glare of death. Like, she looks at you, and you know you're getting a referral to the office. I'm a good girl, NO REFERRALS FOR ME

Going into year 9.

It sounds odd that we do so little homework but the ones I never get it for are less important (RS, Citizenship etc.) and the ones that I barely get homework for I have four times a week.

You're in the same year as my brother then. o: And yeah, he rarely gets homework too...

I wanted to hug my teacher too, but you can't do that 'cause they get done for inappropriate touching. o_o;

I thought I'd be getting quite a bit this year but the SATs were cancelled so I probably wont. (Our school is still doing them but I doubt there'll be as much pressure)

I think Year 10 is gonna hit me pretty hard.

I don't think my brother's school is concentrating on SATs this year... Which is good for him, because he's not the scholarly type. D; He'll struggle when it comes to his GCSEs though me thinks.

hah ya. when i was younger i wanted to hug and touch the teachers hair alot. i was with the principal alot as well (and i dont know why, since im one of her favourite students >.<)

oh, and i forgot to mention, i was going to leave the school this year, but she begged my parents for me to come back and let them pay less x3
