Appearantly there was a drill, as well in the student housing (big apartments), just next to the university.

Also I happen to come across this, and it makes me glad I don't watch the show, though I believe, it is Morpheus now to does the main character stuff:

I like CSI Miami...;-;

One of my friends said there was a gang fight at her old school once. O_O;

Well... we had an off campus apartment catch fire... displaced a few professors as well as students. Otherwise, there's the usual - false drills, people setting off homemade stink bombs containing bleach and drain cleaner (don't ask,), and the like.

Oh, and the day before I started my very first semester ever at college, someone pulled the fire alarm at the hotel where we were staying, like 3 hours before move in time.

Fire drills where I work are funny, because my friends tend to walk out dressed up in their coats, sunglasses, and carrying their cups of coffee. xD

We had a couple of "real" fire alarms earlier in the year, but that was because we had builders on the floor above us, and they kept accidentally setting off the tamper alarm on them. That of course meant that all the retained firefighters (I don't know if you have these outside the UK) had to get in their cars, drive to the fire station, come back to County Hall in a fire engine...and find out it was a false alarm. >>

A teacher at our school burnt his toast and the fire alarm went off during Lunch and it sucked.

I always get them in the best lessons or lunch. >:(

We had the fire alarms go off about 20 times (all false alarms) last year. The fire service must have been pretty annoyed at my school. Always during class though. :D

Our school hasn't had a fire alarm in a LONG time. I'm worried. :(

We had a fire one monday this year at school, and the fire drill was scheduled for wednesday. XD; It was only down the end of the school though so no alarms or stuff went off. :( Fun experience.

I'm in graduate school. I only have classes at night, and due to scheduling issues, I only have one this semester :P Homework is still killer, though, and I'm quite involved in other student activities.

I'm in Sixth Form, so I've little more than a dozen or so hours of learning a week. I'm in every day, but I get a lovely long lie-in on Wednesdays. <3

I've still got long years of education ahead of me. My plans are to go to College and University after Secondary school to study IT. I still don't know how long exactly the course is but I predict about three to four years. I'm ready for it and actually anticipating. I did hear that IT in College and University is mostly theory and hardly any praticals, I hope that's not the case because what I enjoy about It is the praticals.

Most uni courses are three years for a bachelor's degree (i.e. BA = Bachelor of the Arts, BSc = Bachelor of Science etc.) and four years for a master's degree (i.e. MA = Master of the Arts, MSc = Master of Science etc.), with a few exceptions such as Architecture (six or seven years, depending on whether you're going for BArch or MArch). I believe IT is a three or four year course, as you've predicted, after which you should have the option of further research (though I'm not altogether clear on that).

I've already finished my application for university! I've applied for Mathematics at Oxford, Exeter, Southampton, Bristol and Plymouth. 8D
