My science teacher just lets us get on-line on our Laptops and blast music...
He thinks we are researching.

My science teachers were never like that. =( Even when we had subs for biology- they made us do work, though the guys in my class would throw paper around the room.

Yup, there are awesome teachers who are awesome because they're good teachers, and then there are awesome teachers who are awesome because they let you goof off, but you fail your exams as a result. I'd rather have the former.

Only thing is, I've been confident going into tests, only to get the results back and find that I didn't do as well as planned. This is happening more in college and especially graduate school :/

I'm at least hoping that I could pass the state-wide exam; seeing as it's difficulty is consider rather high if you don't know your math and science of course. I'm good at both subjects, so I should be fine, but I still don't know what to expect in the long run.

You probably don't have much to worry about if you are in advanced placement classes.

It seems that I'm one of the few people here who don't study for standardised tests and still pass, usually with proficient scores.

Neither do I. But from the sounds of it, you Americans have a much higher workload than I do (or will). XD;

It really depends on the class that you are in.
But I digress.

I am in AP classes(going into AP United States History next) so yeah. The workload is immense for my Honors Chemistry and my APUSH classes though, so I'll be expecting a lot to be thrown my way.

That sounds...sucky.
I already despise my high school because I get homework in almost every class.

School talk? Yeah um... I have an exam today for geography in about an hour and a half and I still have a load of information to cover, high chance of failing :(

It's better if you are calm about it; You can focus on the test much easier if you have a clear mind. Don't think about failing as much that much.

I can't help thinking about failing. XD; Though this exam isn't that important...

So I had to go to Ohio this week for my aunts funeral on Tuesday, but Monday was the viewing over well over 2,000 people showed up to walk through and pay respects. O__O"
It was the most amazing thing I had ever seen. I miss her. >___<" But she was an awesome person and though she didn't really live a long life, she lived a dang good one. :>

On topic: I never study, either. But that's because I've learned to work my home school system and I don't need to study. Xd But I don't learn. :(

i am writing a five-page sociology paper due in 9 hours and have just over one page left! even though im tired and unmotivated i gotta do this! :D

I'm glad that I don't have to write long papers for any of my classes, that'd be a pain. XD With the probably exception of Chemistry because lab reports are a huge pain in the neck ugh.

You are lucky(no pun intended.)
In my American Government class, I have these special projects worth a large portion of my grade, and they are mostly about people you have never heard of. Can anyone tell me who Dave Beck and Felix Frankfurter is without searching Yahoo(!) or Google first?

...And I just finished my Essay due for Literature class.
It honestly took much less time than I expected :P

Oh gawds, I plan on going to graduate school. This is what I'll be expecting. ._.

Backpedaling a bit...like Misheard Whisper, I too come here at DCC and branching off more areas of PC to not be more recognized but to make more friends and have fun in other places. :) I want my Coke now! XD

EDITZ: Dean, glad everything went well with the funeral. 2,000 people? O.o Yeah, good thing at least she lived a good life. :)
