Good luck finding one... I need to get another job so I can get a not-crappy car.
Minnesota doesn't have too much of a job problem right now, there are a lot of openings. So if nothing else... and I mean NOTHING else... there's McDonalds. :<

I know... but there were considerable numbers of foreclosures near me, so jobs aren't as easy to come by as they are elsewhere in the state (but there certainly is no shortage at big box retailers).

Oh I didn't know you lived in MN o.o

Like by the twin cities or what?

I hate Minnesota, and its all because of Brett Favre.

then why make your signature a minnesota pic?

At Lightning, I would probably do the same if I had a choice. :/ In two years, I'll graduate.

I was going to take a semester off, but I have the type of personality that if I took time off, I might not want to go back. So I'm going to get it done and over with so I can start teaching.
I couldn't concentrate at ALL last year and dropped 80% of my classes so I figured I wasn't going to waste money this year, get my meds adjusted... and find a college I actually would like and try again.

:<

Well lucky for me my tuition is so small the government pays for it. I get so much aid I actually make around 1800 dollars a semester. I can use it for whatever I want. Last year I bought a car with it. :>

I am pretty sure 99.9% of all college/college-bound students want you to set yourself on fire right now.

Yeah that's what I'll be after as well, get my Associate's then go on to finish a Bachelors. And I'm definitely gonna be signing up for financial aid because there's really no reason not to get the gov't to help you if they're offering :)

I don't want to live at home and if I can afford apt (w/ roomates...) and college that'd be kickass.

Well, I get my first year of college for free. It makes me happy. That is because I am in a program where you finish your first year of college and last year of high school at the same time. : 3 One hundred dollar application fee, then everything else is eezy-breezy. : 3

I also just found a crap load of LGBT scholarships. <3

I'm part of the discriminated against middle-class... so, unless I get scholarships, I have to take out a bunch of loans.

Yeah, I will have to do that same thing after year one. ;__;

I'm starting that program next year at my school. To me, there's nothhng better than the feeling of knowing you're prepared and covered for college and beyond. I didn't like being independent at first because it involved paying your own bills and whatnot, but if I'm going to be living on-capus whereas some scholarships and stuff will cover me, then that's awesome, and a comforrable thought to live with.

Well, you still have to pay everything yourself. You just have the money from the scholarships to do so. They don't pay for you. They just give you the money. Unless of course, it's a selective scholarship, then they will tell the school and what not.

GLBT SCHOLARSHIPS. GOOD. IDEA.

And even if you're middle class (me) once you're on your own and not within your parent's income bracket you can usually claim poverty because of your job's income level. Soooo if you live with your parents you're screwed but if you move out you can get a lil help.
