... It's 1:52 AM, why am I not asleep?

Orite-- discussing Silent Hill with my fellow nerds. Oooh yeah, epic Saturday morning conversations!

I don't go out much. I'd rather hang out here at home relaxing.

I know, I'm just saying that I do. I get mistaken for a woman many times, even by my own family.

People are so judgmental :S

I don't think it that hard to distinguish a person... Maybe over the phone is a little bit difficult, (*stares at foreign call centres*). At least I'd like to think I'm pretty good at identifying. XD

I can't recall if there were any openly gay people at my school, I'd assume there were (as there were some at the public school; I went to a Catholic High school, but it is not as severe as it sounds, teachers there are quite open-minded). Though I can say that gay people are socially acceptable in general here. Like at work people don't mind/care.

At my school nobody is openly gay, but I have / know afew gay and bisexual friends / people already.

I don't know anyway who is gay.

Heh... I know alot of gay and bi people and in my experience they've been nicer than straight people. >.>;;

I get the voice frustration tho. I sound muuuch younger than I am, my younger sister [6 years younger than me] sounds older than me. ;; *flails*

Should the first l really be there?

Ironically, while the ratio isn't a fair comparison, I've met mostly rude gay people... There were two gay guys that used to work at my workplace (they didn't really know each other though), and they were both fired, one for being incompetent (he couldn't count for anything, and probably lost the store money), and the other was suspected of stealing from the store.

ggughh.

Anyone here read Agatha Christie and/or is willing to beta a(n) Hercule Poirot fanfiction? It feels really odd using a website and sticking up a form for stuff. =|

Forms...

-shudder-

On the topic of gay/bi people usually being nicer than most straight people, that is something I have definatly noticed.
Though whenever I see a gay person that is mean, they are always so much meaner than any straight person I've ever seen, what is with that anyways?

Can't do any betaing myself :S

Omega, there are probably a number of reasons, even as much as the same for straight people, but if there are meaner gay people (when they do happen to be mean), perhaps my guess would have to be where it is their anger (or whatever) from being rejected, or at least not fully socially accepted at time... I mean I could even be wrong, I'm just speculating.

No... that isn't relevant to where I live, gay people are widely accepted here. As are Bisexual people.
In my experience, it is those who are corrupted by popularity (As for a strange phenomena, all of the openly gay males I have seen here, are unusual popular, like, beyond everyone else. (I can say differently for the homosexual females here, as they usually tend to be far less popular than the rest, which THEN I can understand the hostility.))

I believe that the hostile behavior stems from the fact that being so popular, means that they can get away with being rude and inconsiderate to others (Even the popular straight people do it, Females tend to do it more than males from my observation.)
Keep in mind, I'm not trying to say that EVERYONE that is gay that gets popular is a power hungry jerk, I know a few that are pretty popular and are great people. I'm just stating some observations and asking for others viewpoints.
