While Tiberian Dawn and the first Red Alert were innovative for their time, they're obviously quite long in the tooth today. Tiberian Sun was a definite improvement from those two, though the controls and interface are still a bit dated nonetheless. It wasn't until Red Alert 2, however, that the games became truly playable. I don't really care if the so-called "fans" consider Generals to be an illegitimate member of the franchise, it's still loads of fun. EA's mismanagement of Tiberium Wars and Red Alert 3, on the other hand, well...
