While Tiberian Dawn and the first Red Alert were innovative for their time, they're obviously quite long in the tooth today. Tiberian Sun was a definite improvement from those two, though the controls and interface are still a bit dated nonetheless. It wasn't until Red Alert 2, however, that the games became truly playable. I don't really care if the so-called "fans" consider Generals to be an illegitimate member of the franchise, it's still loads of fun. EA's mismanagement of Tiberium Wars and Red Alert 3, on the other hand, well...
 
Oddly enough, the only game(s - I have the expansion, too) I own from that franchise is the one that you say the "fans" think is the illegitimate child of the series. It was a part of a very good strategy pack from EA that had Black and White II, a B&WII expansion, LOTR: The Battle for Middle Earth II (? - not sure which one it was), and I think one other game as well.
 
I really liked Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge BTW. XP

But yeah I think that's the series. Spot on as always Jack.

Coincidentally I'm watching Stargate: Inauguration right now. XP
 
I'm not really a big fan of the Red Alert series though I don't mind playing them now and again with friends.

I totally lost interest in the middle of the Atlantis season -___-
 
Oh, so like a plot over the whole season with filler episodes basically?

Also, I love Irish accents on boys <33

I need to go to England one day to find myself a nice boy.
 
Feign, can you speak with a Russian, English or Irish accent? If not, I'm leaving you.
