English narrative due next Thursday, English report due tomorrow, PD presentation due next Thursday, Commerce assignment handed in today, Japanese report due next Thursday, no shortage of maths homework, Science test next Thursday, IPT test next Thursday. Due next term are a Geo video and some mathematical assignment thingo.

My computer is a barebone and my Netbook is HP..

My last school canceled French all together. Instead, they now offering Mandarin Chinese. So now they offer Latin, Spanish, and Mandarin. They claim they canceled French for budget reasons.

5 people were taking Latin in the entire school. Yet the teacher got paid the same amount as the French one and worked the same hours. Why not cancel the class with that no one takes and save the same amount of money, and be able to offer the three most important languages to Americans in the school district? Instead, they keep two useful languages and one nearly pointless one.

But I thought learning Latin made it much easier to learn the other languages that are derived from it?

Yes and no, it might be easier just to learn one of the Romance languages first (like french, as it shares some similarities with English) and then learn Latin.
 
I bring wonderous news. I have ordered a brand new pair of socks from the internet. They should arrive soon.

They are nice, yes? I have to do a presentation soon at our local elementary school and I will wear these to there. I think that the children will like them because they are the colors of ice cream.
 
Tomorrow I have a 4 test in school. It is going to be a long day.

Unless those socks give your feet the ability to roll up when you wear them, they aren't nice :(

Omg I am jealous. D: Those socks look amazing. I love socks.
 
I don't do anything higher than knee socks (because I'm so short that some knee socks are practically thigh-highs on me fml XD) but akldsjgfs I love longer-style socks like that. And just socks in general, really. :'D

And to think I used to hate getting socks for Christmas. Now I look forward to it. xD
 
Haha, I kind of like all socks with some kind of distinct pattern to them. In the past I'd only stick to ankle socks but they...don't help at all during colder days, so I went for something much longer and warmer.

The socks I have...lessee...polka dots and stripes with vibrant colours. If I were adept at coordinating outfits, I'd definitely put these to more use.
 
I can pull off the longer socks... not so sure about patterned ones

(though I'd kill for some Quality Inn logo socks)
 
I wear knee socks and regular socks only. I have never tried ankle socks, I always think their going to fall off my foot when I walk. ^^;

Technically, I just wear the really short socks that cut off around the heel. ;> I don't think I could pull off longer socks ;<
