Two years ago, on the last day of school, there was a bomb threat. The last day is non-academical. The teachers don't even care if you show up. You just hang out with your friends all day long. Literally for the whole day. You can get snacks like pop corn and everything. Nachos, slushies, cotton candy etc. Then, we usually have like hot dogs for lunch. As the day warms up, teachers get in the dunk tank and then get soaked. Also, we've had shooting threats as well. One recently, from a new kid that had shown up. He said he was going to bring a gun and shoot everyone who wasn't 100% white. Well, he didn't, and yeah.

But yeah someone brought a dirt bomb, and well yeah, I bet that ruined a good portion of the day for some people. (I wouldn't know, I left earlier and only heard the rumors.) The kid spent a few hours on the bomb, and well, if I was him, I would be pissed for it to be taken awaken.

WIth the pepper bomb (think of pepper spray) I saw people leaving the hallway, with tears in their eyes, buggers coming out of there nose, and them covering their faces.

The kid who did the school shooting threat was in my class, and was moderately made fun of (not sure why exactly). Needless to say he was suspended for a few days, as this was a serious matter, and not to long after the Columbine and Taber shootings.

When my sister was going through High School, there were some pretty violent people there. But nothing as it is now. Also, when she graduated, she went to Sober Grad. I'm going to go to it, as I could win cameras, iPods and stuff. Plus, I get money from it. They really don't want people getting drunk. We basically have to spend the night at the central gym, area.

Ah cool. We were a Catholic school, and it was by far, not a sober grad. Well neither were people getting drunk either (it was more formal). It was funny though, it was held the day before my birthday (May 9 was grad, May 10th was my birthday). Not that I was a drinker to begin with, but I just found it a bit funny.

Bleh, stupid go to last read post.

@_@

I remember there was some sort of random brawl outside our school involving our school and Sydney Boys...

And they brought knives to a fistfight.

Somebody called the police, apparently, and they got taken away and the group shooed off without incident.

Still, it's scary.

In a way it is kind of interesting as to know why they would laugh... But I'd still say that the main reason, is just insecurity... They would feel the same way (no one really wants to see a victim suffer), but they'd rather make someone else stay as the victim to their scapegoat issue. Their laughing almost make it seem like school shootings are justifiable. I know they're not, as a person has the choice to get help, but what if all else fails? And the bullys don't relent? You can bet for sure no one will be laughing after an incident such as that, even if everyone survived...
More or less, they were laughing at the awkwardness of the situation and not at the fact that I was bullied. My story focused more on the intervention than the bullying itself, so it's forgivable. Back to the current story. :x

Haha, I was once caught in the middle of a fight between two kids. I was waiting in the parking lot a bit away from school, and the two fighting kids unexpectedly passed by and got a hit on my backpack. The police who worked in the school apprehended them soon enough though. In any case, it was a bit more silly than it was a serious situation for me.

I tended to avoid fights. Closest thing I got was getting beaned in the back of the head by a mashed potato during a food fight during my senior year of high school, of all times... Yeah, not happy about having nasty cafeteria potato in my hair...

I try to not fight, but it tends to happen occasionally. This is only heightened because I go to a ghetto school. :'( I wish there would be a food fight at our school. :<

Why did your school installed cameras?

Well, they had the regular graduation. Then they had a completely optional second half to be locked into gym. They had their dance and everything.

Food fights ;p. The only reason I've ever been to the principal's office. It was not a major one, jut one between my table, and like two others. I had a few bags of rotten grapes, a kiwi, and an apple. (:
No food fights ever in my schools :S

I think we only installed cameras at my high school 1 year after my attending there.
The cameras are a little invasive, no? My school was thinking about getting cell phone-jammers for the class rooms, because people text too much. But I think it was just a threat really, I don't think they are actually going to.

I've never been in a fight ever. I really am proud of that too U_U;;

Neither have I, but I can't really take a hit so I'm kinda happy about my non-fighting lifestyle :D
