Go read it now. >:O

But seriously, it gives a great new perspective to Pokemon. ^__^

I don't like chess..
I did one time I was really into it..
And btw Wish I looked at it..
It was.. Uhh.. >.>

A few posts delayed, but roller coaster chess is when you take a chessboard, affix the pieces to the board using velcro or glue, typically, and proceed to play a game of chess on the roller coaster.

Typically it is only for the photograph taken on the ride. It is pertinent to pose in a thoughtful manner as the photograph is snapped, making it appear as if you are selecting your next move.

Alternatively, using velcro permits you to actually play a game of chess, though may not be to successful on high speed rides.

I haven't been to an amusement park in a couple years... and the last two times were within a month of each other. (one was for Physics and the other was a trip with my cousins)

Last time I was on a roller coaster wuz last summer, on me yearly trip to me childhood friends house. We had teh fun. ^_^

Speaking of amusement parks, last summer I want out with a group of urban explorers in search of those (in)famous abandoned and derelict amusement parks.

It was about 46 of us, and let me tell you; there sure are some pretty spooky places in Europe

Roller coaster chess is nothing compared to skydive chess.
I just had to put it out there.

Mind if I tag along next time? it sounds like loads of awesomesauce.

Sure. Truth be told, it was like visiting a junkyard most of the time (only slightly more eeire)
I only went like half the way since I had to get back, but they continued on all the way into Turkey (we started in Rome)
I would like to see the the Russian ones (i think there was 2 of 'em), and the one in Romania we didn't see since it was too late that day
but I doubt I'd have time

Yes, but that pales in comparison to Base Jumping Chess!

I think it'd be eerily nostalgic, in a way. To see what once was a thriving place of happiness reduced to abandoned scrap metal. Has to feel rather... depressing.

Yeah, it did feel like that, I would say it was more kind of like visiting a time capsule
Like a real post apocalyptic movie. Like everyone just evaporated in a nuclear war or something,

Merry-go-round,ferris wheels, old 70's style restaurants, all just frozen in time
but only one of the places had a roller coaster (if you could call it that)
