I couldnt reserve HG or anything...but I will get it as soon as I can.

I'll probably go with Totodile or Chikorita
 
Bleh I have to wait until the 20 something for the release here. XD

I should pre-order it, since I'll end up forgetting about it. D;

But well FFXIII it is for now. o3o;
 
I pre-ordered. And I'm SO glad I did... and that I preordered so early. They actually ran out of preorder figures so only about a third of the people who preordered got them. D: Since I was so high up on the list, I managed to get my Ho-oh but it meant there were no extra Lugia for me to ask for. ;_;

I got Chikorita. Was hoping for a girl so I could name it 'Chlora' but got a boy and had to settle on the less desirable and considerably more weird name 'Chloren'.

Trying to decide on a name for my rival. *epiphany* Named him Asahara :x
 
I named myself Ventus and named my rival Vanitas. *kingdom hearts nerd*

Named Totodile as "Waninoko" for its Japanese name. That's what it was when I got Gold (I don't remember why I wanted to name it the Japanese name) and for some reason as I sat there having it prompt me for a nickname it's the only name I could think of. XD;

Just caught my second Pokemon, Zubat. Named it Nostenfer after Crobat's French name. (I love the French Pokemon names so much. Most of them are so awesome.)
 
I love English names too but I also really like nicknaming my Pokémon. But I've been too lazy to come up with decent nicknames as of late so I tend to just look up the Bulbapedia entry for a Pokémon and pick one of its foreign names. xD;
 
For some reason I have it ingrained in my brain to always call carnivine 'masukippa' because that's its japanese name when it was first revealed and it has just stuck with me :s

Guess that's what happens when covering every single new pokemon in japanese on your site does to you.
 
I like the English names better since they are easy to pronounce @_@
 
Japanese is very easy to pronounce though. Far easier than the English ones. A perfect example would be "Arceus." A lot of people said it as "Ar-see-us" or something close to that. But the official pronunciation is "Ar-kay-us". o.o If you just remember there are no accents in it, then you'll be able to pronounce it, as long as knowing "i" is pronounced "ee" and some things like that. D:

Well, if you don't know how to pronounce the Japanese syllables, you're outta luck for pronouncing Japanese names. :(

I find a lot of Japanese names ridiculous, though. XD; Like, seriously, Flareon is Booster.
