Oh, I actually want to read Nightlight. xD; I love Harvard Lampoon's books.

I guess the reason I tolerated the series so much is because to me it seemed just like a very, very stupid parody of old vampire literature, you know? Like I said, it's not unreadable when you don't really take anything they say seriously, but the sheer stupidity still made it a horrible read.

The same could be said about, like, every fandom. Twilight fans are just more common, but I've seen just as worse Final Fantasy, Pokémon, Kingdom Hearts and Supernatural fans, to mention a few.

So ironic you bring up vampire literature. I just started Ann Rice's Vampire Chronicles.

Lestat is hot. He makes Edward and every other vampire series (even the others I like) look like pansy's.

the twilight is the worst series since harry potter, no effence but i didn't read the book, but watched half of the first movie and walked out of the cinema

You were right. XD;

Also, one shounen (shonen?) series that doesn't have a lot of fans who have a steadfast belief that it's vastly superior to everything else is Mahou Sensei Negima!. They may be crazy, but most admit the flaws of the series. such as the overabundance of fanservice prior to a certain arc because KA's publisher was being a supermassive team of jerks and wouldn't let him take it in the direction he wanted (b'-')b /shameless Negima! plug
