IMO Nintendo didn't do that good in their press conference. I only expected one thing, and that was Golden Sun: Dark Dawn which looks awesome btw. The rest was boring since I was never a fan of Zelda or Mario.
Sony did way better though. Portal 2, Killzone 3, Playstation Plus, Steam support for PS3, etc. is awesomesauce. I don't know if I should get Portal 2 though. Portal was really repetitive and I feel like I'll get the same game for however much it costs.

Now, am I the only one here who thought The Orange Box absolutely sucked?

Ughh both PSN and steam on PS3 is overkill. It's already deadly annoying to type on consoles not named DS anyway lol.

It's annoying to type on anything not named PC tyvm.
When Gabe appeared on the PS3 stage, it was such a huge slap to the Microsoft crowd. Just a few years ago all of Valve was hating Sony and refused to make products for them.

...I knew it concentrated on something I have little interest in. Looks like I guessed wrong.

And Luck, yes you are.

Really?

It must have been the controller then, because the controls absolutely sucked. I couldn't even stand still when I went through a portal. ):
You're the only geek beca--nah, forget I said anything.

I've never had one of those gaming PC's...
So I rape my consoles.

But, isn't it cheaper to get an Xbox, than a really expensive graphics accelerator or card?
moar economical, eh?
I obviously don't know the differences.
Enlighten me.

Not necessarily... PCs that can compete with the consoles can run as low as $600, if you know where to look and what to build it with, and that's still cheaper than getting both a PC and a console, typically, as the PC would also run your productivity software very well.

I don't really do PC gaming because I can't get into it. I'll start up a game and then... get distracted by MSN. Or email. Or twitter. And if I close everything else off to avoid distractions, I get curious and check anyway because oh, I'm sitting right here anyway. It'll only take a minute. @_@

I get a lot more done on consoles. XD;

I see where that leads, but I guess people need to have a little insight on how the PC's internal hardware works and compliments certain assets. Which I don't think I posses at all. XD

Is there a difference in the quality of a game...?
Control-wise I think it would be pretty more comfortable on a console..
But what about the game's performance?

I only played one game on the PC, and that was Portal because it was free :/
I don't ever plan on using Steam again otherwise.

In the case of a crappy port(see: The Orange Box), the PC version is superior. I still feel more natural with a controller, but I think there are converters so you can use controllers.
