I was thinking more, oh, the Black/White forum? xD; It's got 18k posts in it already. I think its one-month anniversary either just passed or is coming up. That is terrifying. DDD:

It's funny, seeing as how the same thing basically happened to the HG/SS forum a year ago after you guys made the forum for the games.
 
n_n I actually assigned my email address to the forum today so I get emails whenever a new thread is created. It should make me more efficient when dealing with duplicate threads in there. Along with that thread index I compiled today.

/totally not overworking in that forum what are you talking about

edit: I think BW is even worse than HGSS. At least with HGSS, there were a bunch of threads we could have in the beginning because they were remakes--so it wasn't out of the question to just tweak polls meant for GSC into speculative questions in HGSS. But BW is entirely new so it's been... an adventure. @_@;;

Oh. Funny. I wonder why (why do I wonder why everything, I wonder) people talk about unreleased games so much, forging all the hype, they just set their expectations too high, which is why everything in the present sucks, and the future and past tend to be awed.
 
I can't wait until they show all of the pokemon that get unneeded evolutions in Generation V. It'll be fun watching them be like "OMG THIS IS SO AWESOME ;D;" when they continue to hate on tangrowth, magmortar, and electivire.
All I can hope for is a magcargo evolution.
 
Nothing wrong with speculation! But I agree it gets silly when people speculate and share what they want to see from the game... and go so over the top that when they do receive a good game in the end, they aren't happy with it because it didn't meet their wild expectations. :s

But I'm strange in that I love talking about games up until maybe a few months until they release and then I stop altogether so I don't get spoilt by final information that might leak out and don't disappoint myself with more concrete expectations. u_u;

I'm already starting to speculate about B/W less just because we're seeing more screenshots and learning more about the game, so everything I think of is pretty obviously "yes it'll be there" or "no it won't be in it". Don't wanna be disappointed in the latter case, so... D:
 
I hate people who whine and moan about every little thing that they want didn't get into the game. I'm excited about this generation no matter what. I don't get disappointed very easily when it comes to Pokémon games.
 
Aww I see OVP and B/W mentioned! This is a dream come true. I love Chiramii, Mamepato and Shimama, also Erica's modding work in B/W is amazing.

I was disappointed with 3rd gen. Like, immensely disappointed. It wasn't until 4th gen that I even liked any 3rd gen Pokémon and so when 4th gen came out, it was basically the make-or-break game for me as far as the fandom went. And it passed all my tests. :( It makes me sad to see all the gen 4 hate because it was easily my favourite. Not just because of Cherrim (though Cherrim is a big chunk of the reason xD) but it sparked my interest back to Pokémon and was just a great experience overall. It wasn't perfect but no gen has been so far.

BW won't be either so I'm just gonna take it for what it is. I'll get excited for it (I might even import this one!) but in the end, if I'm disappointed, I can recognize it'll probably be because I set the bar too high instead of at a realistic point. :<

This is a big reason why I also love B/W. I heard that the wifi is going to be fixed or something... (i forget. D:) I just hope it's easier to access wifi, or at least able to support WPA keys.

I haven't even read about the new wireless capability that BW has. *horrible mod* XD;

I keep meaning to but the only sites that have good info are very blatant Pokémon sites and I never think to do it when I'm not at work. (Or on my lunch break, at least.) I could go do it now but... ehh, I'm going to bed in a minute.

(I have been saying "I'm going to bed in a minute" to myself for roughly two hours now. Oops.)
