Pokemon just like Professor Oak came when you walked into the wild grass and other numerous times
[PokeCommunity.com] The Daily Chit-Chat

That image is so old but I chuckle every time I see it.

It works for some people. For example, I know a couple who met on PC, talked for long time, dated, and are now engaged.
Totally sweet! Who'd knew "we met on a Pokemon community!" would be such a great thing to tell to your parents! Better yet, they'll enshrine Pokemon because they'll slap themselves as they regret every time they didn't let their kids watch the show when they were young, because now they have a husband/wife just from that!
Let alone the awesomeness of being the offspring, I mean, you make a school project "Mom and dad met on a Pokemon forum, talked for a long time, dated, and got married!". I mean that's just a sweet way of meeting your (hopefully) one!

@Charizard
Use Flamethrower on him!
No seriously, tell him if you get As you get a PC. My dad was way against it as I wanted one for.. 4 years? I was stuck with a P3! Until my Parents divorced and my mom got me one <3 as a birthday present.
Reminds me I didn't get one this year =[

@Luck
You and your deeds Luck.. I didn't plan on getting with that Cherrim girl too much. Not that I wanted to punch her or any other violent response I can make.. but.. let's just say I don't care about her.

That's why he has the old ones. New ones doesn't get it.
Still I dislike the fact that you need money for online play. GFWL doesn't have it.You can also use the CD key trick

Still I think PS3 is the better choice, but just because I have a PSP so I can kick butt in Dissidia!

Also yay, my post is the 15000 ^_^

I forgot that you could use a PSP as a PS3 controller >< Then I'm definitly going to get a PS3.

Isn't the PS3's superior?
I still want to kick butt in Dissidia. Too bad equips and accessories are banned =/
Squall is a beast.
I guess it is XD
Although, I suck at Video games, I prefer playing the real sport if its like Madden or something.

I didn't try anything though :(
Okay :D Just for you :D

Eh, I went to my friends house to play Xbox360 and he had that red rings thing :/

Anyways, I think my fanboy side should talk. While the 360 is a great choice as well, get the PS3. It can play Blu-ray for one, and while HD was completely fine a few years ago, games are getting bigger and require more space. Blu-ray can go up to 120 GB on BDXL and can have 50 GB on dual layer when HD DVD can only have 30 GB on dual layer. The game selection is also better. Most of the 360 games are also on PC and the highest rated games are almost all third or first person shooters. With the PS3 you can get games like LittleBigPlanet and ModNationRacers which focus on user generated content. You also get a wider selection of other games. Although Xbox Live is better(especially in America), PSN has the Playstation Store where you can download many classic PS1 games for cheap prices. It's free to go online although Sony recently showed Playstation Plus where you can get discounts on many things and you get a few free games every month(from what I'm told), but only as long as you actually have Playstation Plus. The PS3 is also very compatible with the PSP, which really helps since the PSP isn't a bad system at all either. Lastly, the PS3 has significantly lower failure rates. The 360 improved a lot through the years by making better products, but the PS3 always kept the failure rates low. The PS3 is definitely the stronger system of the two in general. Sadly, the PS3 Slim took out the PS2 and possibility of using Linux iirc.

Take what I said with a grain of salt though, cause I'm just a PS3 fanboy.

Well at least the PS3 has free online play and doesn't suffer the red ring of death. Not that the new XBoxes do but still.

I don't think there is a 'superior' so to say; they both have strong and weak points.

Can't the PS3 play PS2 games? And does it cost money to go on the internet? :3

I would play the real sport if I wasn't so lazy and so violent. "You stole my ball!?" *kick in the face* ahh ><
Although I'm still bad at my favorite which is basketball.
Thats good if you like football. But instead of kicking you tackle XD

I agree though, sports games are overrated and just do it yourself rather than playing.

I think only 60GB and above models can. Crappy Sony marketing.

I'd rather not put that thing on me.. It feels awkward. Not to mention that kicking and punching > tackling.
Besides, my boobs probably won't fit it

Oh I see.
And a little to much info on that last part XD

I edited my post, but I'll say it again. The PS3 Slim does not have PS2 backwards compatibility. It's completely free but there is an optional service so you can pay and get free stuff and discounts every month. I have the old 60 GB PS3 fat so I'm not in trouble, but if you have a lot of money to burn you should try getting the PS3 fat, if only for Linux support and PS2 backwards compatibility.

HOWEVER, many companies may try remaking their PS2 games for the PS3 so it can be higher quality and have trophy support, such as the God of War Collection.

You seem to know a LOT about PlayStation

I guess I'll just get the normal PS3 then XD

I don't think they're in production anymore though. D:
Good luck finding one if you can though, they're around ~$600. You could just wait for the PS3 Slim 320 GB for $400 and buy a handful of quality games(LittleBigPlanet and Killzone 2 are $30 new now since they're…damn it, I forgot the name. D;
