I like these pokemon too, but some pokemon have bad designs.
 
The Fighting Trio + Water Horse is inspired by the Musketeers. The bug is an ancient bug captured by Team Plasma and "upgraded" with technology. The mushroom is along the same line as Voltorb. Things in the wild do tend to emulate objects to blend in. I don't understand why people are making such a big deal out of it. And the bug ninja + knight bug are along the same line as Mantine + Remoraid. Creatures evolve based on their surroundings. I really wish people would take the time to understand the ideas behind the concepts before bashing them incessantly. Pokemon fans are so hard to deal with sometimes.

The legendary trio ones. What are they really? That bug ninja? The mushroom pokeball or something? The garbage rat? All the legendary ones? They all suck. I know they are different, but bad different.

The others are okay, really. 3 of this generation became my favorite, but in general, the ideas were great, yet the designs weren't. That's just me, though.

Holy crap. Is that how B&W Pokemon look? Because if it is, I might just quit Pokemon.

You do have a point. Eh, I can't judge it right now since I haven't played it, I'll save my criticism for when I actually play it. :3
 
I haven't played it either, but I have seen some of the pokemon.

It's based on some Greek/Roman God who's name I forget that sat on the clouds and watched over the people. See his, "I AM JUDGING YOU!" expression? :3

And the last time I said this someone said LOLNO ARCEUS GOD. So I had to reply with, LOLNO THERE ARE MULTIPLE GODS IN POKEMON HERP DERP DERP" and got in trouble for douching the thread up.
 
The game is actually amazing. I was surprised really. I like everything about it and the Pokémon I hated or I thought I did, were pretty okay in-game. I'm not too sure about the anime, though, yet.

Looks like that was one of the worst.

These Pokemon look like they've all been done before. I don't think hating the character design has anything to do with the quality. Maybe we're just jaded.

EDIT: Wow, some of these Pokemon are very over-the-top T___T

The last one "rules" over the other two. If you manage to get both in one cartridge (the Electric/Flying is exclusive to one version, the pure Flying-type to the other) you can gain access to the Ground/Flying one.
