You Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers​

If you are alive you know that song, even if you're dead you know it, it is the mighty anthem of the Power Rangers. The song that brought joy to our hearts on Saturday mornings. The song that said karate kick butting was on the way!

And as you can see this is a Power Rangers Rp, but not any old Power Rangers Rp, it's the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers!

The plot is.. .well if you know the show you know the plot. But if you need some more here.

What is a Power Ranger?
A Power Ranger is a person who morphs from an unpowered form into a powerful superhero wearing a brightly colored battle suit featuring a helmet with an opaque visor; in many cases, the helmet serves to protect his or her secret identity. Plot sequence

A normal Power Rangers episode can be broken down into an everyplot. The plot sequence is generally as follows:
1. Rangers are seen in everyday life with a dispute to resolve.

3. Rangers fight minions/footsoldiers.
4. Rangers morph.
5. Rangers defeat the minions/footsoldiers.
6. Evil enemy strengthens the minion and makes minion grow to gigantic proportions, followed by Rangers summoning giant machines known as Zords and/or their combined form, the Megazord.
1. Optional: Rangers find that their current powers are insufficient to defeat minion and discover a new power, such as a Battlizer armor for the Red Ranger, or a sixth Ranger and/or a new Megazord.
7. Rangers fight and defeat that particular giant minion.
8. Rangers are shown back in everyday life, having learned a life lesson which solves the earlier dispute.

Elements of a Power Rangers season

Each team of Power Rangers, with few exceptions, obey a general set of conventions, outlined at the beginning of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and implied, though not stated explicitly, throughout many of the other incarnations. These include the Power Rangers being forbidden to use their Ranger powers for personal gain or for escalating a fight, explaining why the Rangers don't just step on the small monsters with their Megazord. The Power Rangers are also forbidden to disclose their identities to the general public, barring extenuating circumstances (although this rule was disregarded in Power Rangers: Lightspeed Rescue and Power Rangers: S.P.D., in which they were public servants [rescue squad, police officers, etc.]) (Following a Spartacus-inspired scene by Angel Grove's townspeople, this rule was also disregarded at the conclusion of Power Rangers in Space.) The penalty for disobeying these rules, at least in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, would be the loss of their power.
The arsenal available to the Power Rangers is also somewhat standardized: each Ranger is generally armed with a weapon such as a laser gun and/or a sword. Each Ranger also has a secondary set of weapons that can often combine to form a larger weapon (usually a cannon). As the series progresses, one or more of the Rangers are also usually given a motorcycle for long-distance travel, as well as individual Zords. In many series, a Ranger is also given additional Zords or weapons. In some cases, one Ranger may receive something that other Rangers may not have; an example of this is the Battlizer given to the Red Ranger of each series since Power Rangers in Space. Although much of the arsenal can also be found in Super Sentai, there are usually at least some that are not, generally added for the express purpose of marketing toys designed and sold by Bandai.
Power Rangers series regularly have villains of their own make which do not appear in the Sentai footage, though for budget and footage reasons there are always carry-overs from the Japanese source material. Less commonly, some series use only the Sentai designs and footage, though despite this some sets have to be replicated for original footage if they need it and an English speaking actor if at least one actor's face was shown, this was the case with Vypra in Lightspeed Rescue and Toxica in Wild Force. There was also one instance when to maintain the trend of the Sixth Ranger for a series where only five existed in the source footage, the Titanium Ranger was created for Lightspeed Rescue.
In seasons following Power Rangers in Space, it became common for each team to be part of a separate storyline from those of previous incarnations. A tradition in later seasons came about such that two teams of Power Rangers teamed up to take on a villain. In Power Rangers: Wild Force, the tenth incarnation of Power Rangers, this is taken to the next level, as ten Red Rangers teamed up in the episode "Forever Red". The only seasons not to feature this team up are Power Rangers: Ninja Storm, due to a shift back to non-SAG talent when production was moved to New Zealand and Power Rangers: Mystic Force, due to a relatively short series length.

Personality: Tommy loves to practice his Karate when people aren't looking, he gets embarrassed easily if someone sees him even when he's in Ranger form, for that he has a bad habit of getting gravely ignored but he's working with Zordon to get over it.
History: As a young kid Tommy was very shy, he started taking karate lessons with his cousins and found that he could express himself that way so he kept doing it, after doing that for a few years he read a flier that said that someone was looking for 6 teenagers to help save the world, thinking that maybe it was just a play or an expedition he took down the flier and fallowed the instructions, and the next thing he knew he was standing in the command center looking up at a giant talking face, he was scared at first but then agreed wanting to make a difference in the world he became the Green Ranger!

I'm sorry JBC, but just throwing in a wiki article... that doesn't really cut it either. :/ We're not looking out to rip off wikipedia completely here. Therefore, the wiki article doesn't count as apart of your plot. Try putting the plot of the show in your own words, each paragraph you write yourself will count as your plot. You can't just throw a wiki article in there.

That's unfair to other RP maker's who spend good time working on their plots.
 
Ok.. let me try to clear a bit up then.. ok... must make clearer and must make three paragraphs out of, bad guy shows up, Rangers arive, Rangers summan Zordes, Badguy is distroyied... Hmm.. *goes off to think*

Dear Diary: I can't believe it, the Akatsuki have finally obtained the final tailed beast; "The Nine Tailed Fox" from a boy name Naruto Uzumaki! Oh, I feel so sorry for him and not only him but for all of the other people who where killed by Akatsuki. But in the end, no one can oppose the Akatsuki, at least, no one known now. Please, someone help us for what is going to happen next!

Dear Diary: After days of tracking down the hosts of the tailed beasts and killing them in order to obtain the tailed beasts' powers, the Akatsuki have finally begun the ending of their plan for world domination. Due to the lack of funds coming from shinobi labor, the villages have fallen. And since the Akatsuki seem to be the only shinobi force, they are simply beginning to take over the other countries, using the abilities that they have taken from the tailed beasts. Isn't there anyone who can save us from this monstrous force?

Dear Diary: Just as it seemed that it was the end for everyone, a new force has risen from who knows where! They appear to be no younger then a full grown teenager, but they seem to be able to take on the Akatsuki. It is odd though, they have strange abilities that would be thought to be coming from a tailed beast...but Akatsuki has all of them. Could there be more tailed beasts than the ones everyone thought where out there? This is an amazing event that I have never seen in my life! These kids could be the heroes of today, but I hope that they are enough to defeat Akatsuki, because if they don't prevail...we will most likely...die.

Dear Diary: When I found this out, I almost had a heart attack. The leader of Akatsuki has been revealed....I...I just can't believe it. It's an Uchiha. I thought that they where all wiped out except for Sasuke and Itachi. The leader of Akatsuki is...Uchiha Obito!

-Overview-

Akatsuki has obtained the abilities of the tailed beast and are using them to dominate the world. The leader of Akatsuki, Obito Uchiha, has been revealed. A new force has risen that plans on defeating Akatsuki. This team consists of five people with the abilities of five beasts: "Two Legged Sante" who can control wind and combined chakra with wind; "Four Legged Woyel" who can control any form of water; "Three Legged Penaku" can control the water element; "Five legged Maka" can create multiple tails; "Eight Legged Aracudo" can create webbing that drains chakra and can be combined with chakra to become a fierce weapon. These five beasts roamed the earth as spirits, waiting for something bad to happen and once Akatsuki began the ending of their plan, the beasts sealed themselves in a group of kids that they thought were worthy. Akatsuki has learned of this new force and is preparing to take them down. This new force is attempting to not only defeat Akatsuki, but also help the villages raise their funds.

-Beasts & their abilities-
1.Two Legged Sante: Can combined chakra and wind, can control wind, High speed, Massive amount of chakra.

3.Three Legged Penaku: Controls the water element at will (Like the way Gaara uses his sand), high speed when in water, massive amount of chakra, Almost unlimited defense.
4.Five Legged Maka: Massive amount of chakra, High speed, high flexibility, can create multiple amount of tails.
5.Eight Legged Aracudo: Mass amount of chakra, High speed, Can create webbing that can drain chakra, can coat webbing with chakra to create a fierce weapon.

Sounds like fun Korinku (Sorry I can't get out of the habit of calling you that~) But, I can't say that I really like the names of those beasts. x_x; Shouldn't they be similar in like, how the tailed beasts all have a different number of tails?

Well, I guess that doesn't really matter, but it'd be nicer if they sounded... better. :x And also, the Telekenesis thing doesn't really quite make it fair to the other beasts, since the Wind controllers also have telekenesis- and the other's only have control of water, or earth, or chakra touch. :/

(By the way, chakra draining isn't really that impressive since it's obviously a bloodline limit that flows in Sound, or an ability that can be learned.)

And, um. You spelled a LOT of simple things wrong. < <; I'd run it through the spell check one more time.

Well, I ran through another spell check and nothing seemed to be wrong. I did fix that one sentence though. And about the names, I can't think of anything that is similar between the animals I am basing them off of. Owl, Wolf, Monkey, Spider, Ankylosourus.

Anyhow. Legs, maybe? Owl is two legged, a monkey can be five legged if you count the tail, a wolf has four, and a spider has eight. As for the Ankylosaurus' four... *I still don't know how a dinosaur got into the crop*

I'm sorry. But you didn't run it through the spell checker. :/ That's just proof right there.

(The fact that you spelled 'Revealed' wrong, and the spell checker didn't get it? That just doesn't happen. And, you didn't fix the 'teen ager' thing, even though I pointed it out, which is why I didn't edit that part for you. A spell checker would've gotten that as well.)
 
(I must have been really sleepy when I wrote this.) I switched the dinosaur with a Flamingo, that way there can be a one legged beast.

It sounds good, Tele. Count me in! Would it be alright if I'm able to control 2 characters from different clans?
 
Hmm, that's a good idea, but a flamingo with earth? >.< Umm... Let me try looking up a few things~

You could try number of eyes~ (That'd be freaky, but it could go like, one-eyed has terrible sight but is very strong, and like, 8 eyed can see through people but is weak. That's still freaky though. xD; Forget that.)

But anyhow, I dunno~ It's complicated to think up new things. >.< You could try number of wings~ Phoenix, Lark, (Flamingo. Hahaha~), Dove, Crow. Meh. Bad suggestions. Oh well, I guess it's not that big of a deal. xD;

Erureido: Since we're talking about the RP, you don't need to quote it. ^^;;

^Accepted (As long as it is a clan you make up, then it is ok)

Bijou: Sorry! I didn't know. I wanted to be talking to a specific roleplay.

Tele: I guess you can make it by elements. Like a pheonix has enormous power and was sealed inside an Uchiha that cannot die by voilence, but of old age and is reborn into another strong Uchiha. Wind would be a Bald Eagle that controls where the wind goes and follows it wherever it goes. Lighting would be a Thunderbird which, when flaps its wings, can create a thunder storm or alot of electricity. Pretty much you should create them as the "Legendary Elemental Brids."

I also think that they should go into a specific clan. I thought about a few:

Pheonix- Uchiha
Bald Eagle- Hyuuga
Thunderbird- This one is tough because no one has a clan in the series that specalizes in electricity. Maybe a made-up clan?
 
Well, after looking on the wiki, I figured that I could use a penguin as a three legged beast (Including its tail but not including its fins). What do you guys think?
 
Eru: Yes, elements might fit a five-beast thing anyway, but I notice that you only picked birds. I don't know about that... it really limits what kind of creatures Tele can make up. And making them correspond to a clan is kind of a problem, especially since the Uchiha are all dead except for Sasuke, Itachi, and (for rp purposes only) Obito (Actually, Obito was such a do-gooder in canon that I'm fairly sure that him being the leader of Akatsuki is a load of pure-d bull). You can't freely create your own ninjutsu abilities if you aren't able to make up your own clan, and that cuts back on a roleplayer's ability to be creative with their character. Besides, Hyuuga doesn't really specialize in wind...

Tele: Aw... me hearts penguins muchly... but then you might as well count its arms as well. Anyway, I think I'm joining this one. And unlike Dark Ninja, with this one I'm fairly sure I can stay active!

anyways , I'm still waiting for a reply on my RP. If you haven't seen it then just look for Wrath of the Ninja with ctrl+f.:paranoid:
