Hey, how do you know if your roleplay has been accepted or not? My fellow roleplayers and I are rather anxious to get started, XD. (Digimon Heroes is the name of the RP, FYI)

I believe a moderator has to accept it before it shows. I'm not sure if you are informed whether your RP is accepted or not though. Did you post it on this thread before? If so, where is it, so I can take a look?

Never mind, I found the OOC thread. Hold on while I take a look and examine it.

Okay, after reading it (and skimming through the Digivolutions near the bottom), It seems pretty genuine. That being said, it is a good RP and is probably waiting to be accepted. I saw nothing wrong with it, and though tempted to join, I don't really know much of the Digimon world to handle the RP, hehe.

Yeah, it's too late to join, we already have all of our roleplayers, lol. Well, if that's the case, I hope they can take their time reviewing it. I'm new to group RPs (as far as leading them), so I had that question.

Minor edits have been made to "The Star in the Sky" RP, including the added section "Who You Are." Is there anything major about it that is lacking though? I'm not sure what will appeal to many here, especially since I changed a lot of the idea from the old version.

Well, I might as well post this plot I wrote randomly just to see. It doesn't have a form or anything, because I'm not particularly sure if it'd spur any interest if I made it. XD

In our world, there exists many secrets that are kept hidden from the human eye. Things meant to remain unseen. Creatures, objects, and gates to other world. All of these things are hidden from humanity's eye for that reason. What if, however, the unseen crossed realms with the seen, if only for a brief moment?

Amongst the hidden there lies a gate, a gate leading to another world. A world called Celevenia, where Angels and Devils coexist. An imperfect world, where one race reigns supreme over the other, surpressing it. Even so, there a special kind of peace in such a world, although the peace was soon to be disturbed by the arrival of humankind; of you. While visiting the local museum back home, someone accidentally knocks over a display, triggering an explosion of light. You fall into darkness at that very moment, and awaken sometime later on a tropical beach surrounded by forest trees. After being discovered by a group of strange children with horns, wings, and tails, you suddenly found yourself being lead to their village.

Here you meet with the village elder, who explains everything to you. This world, Celevenia, became ruled by the Angels after winning a war against Devil-kind. Now, Devils have no choice but to live under the Angels. The Angels dictate everything. Devils are lower class and are unimportant, while the Angels are higher class and are permitted to treat Devils in any way they please. As many Devils as possible had escaped from the cities to smaller villages like the one you were now in, as no Devil would fare well amidst the hustle and bustle of an Angelic city.

Soon, you find out something more shocking than confusing. Your body, being foreign and unused to the magical concentration in the air, had been slowly wearing down ever since the moment you arrived in the strange world. At the rate it was occurring, you would die within the hour unless you found a way to adapt. The elder offers you a solution. A chant that will adapt your body to the harsh atmosphere. Having no other choice, you accept. The chant begins, and you begin to glow. But, just as the process begins to finish, you hear the screams of the villagers, and what sounded similar to gunshots. You black out again.

Strangely, you awaken in your bed, panting and drenched with sweat. Was it a dream? The 'dream' nags at you all day, until you finally break. You want to know if there was any truth to it. You NEEDED to know. So, you arrive back at the museum, and encounter others who shared your dream. Once again, the exhibit begins to glow, and you suddenly find yourself amidst the capital city of Celevenia. So, the world was real, and the elders spell was real. Your body had certainly adapted, just not in the way you originally imagined!

hm seems interesting but how exactly would it progress?

I would join (or attempt to) that RPG, sir.

That idea reminds me a little of "Afterdeath," which I thought was pretty good in itself. Though Kansas hit a good question; how would it progress? It's only an idea, but without any main story to hold it yet, it seems it would grow into more of a community (freaky one too) type RP.

Hmm Random_fan it looks like you cleaned it up after the last time. I left because it got way to popular and there were posts every minute. It had like 96 pages before it died.

Anyway I plan on being more active. I definately like the edits you added here and I can't wait to write a sheet

Hm...It really seems ready to me and I badly want to put it up now, but I can't shake the feeling that I may be missing something or have too much...

So I take it from a first read RPer standpoint that it's worthy, then? I wasn't sure if people would click the link to it and after seeing how long of a first post it is (which really isn't long anyway) they'd turn away.

I guess it is ready but I'll go over it one more time today just for reassurance. Thank you for your thoughts. By the way, is there something you think you would change, cut, or combine?

Random_fan: No I think its fine

Anyway here is an RP I have been working for the past few weeks. It came to me when I was looking through my collection of books and found an Animoprhs book. Anyway the back story isn't done yet. I am just giving you a sample of what is planned here.

Pokimorphs

Backstory: A shadowy parasitic race turns its focus towards one planet. For various reasons it converges towards the planet. The planet of Earth. More specifically the continent of Kanto/Johto.

Your Role: In the year 2008, You are a teenager living in Rockport. A bustling Metropolis on the far edge of Kanto. You are a student at Rockport high.

All of you are connected in some way. The day you had at school was hard and rough. With the unfair teachers and school bullies. However you decide with the people you are connected with to cut across through a construction site to get to the neighborhood you all live in. Little do you know that your entire life will change by choosing this decision.

Morph:
Something that I had to take from the book series. You will eventually be able to morph into a pokemon that you come into contact with. By touching the pokemon, the pokemon will slip into a trance-like state and you will absorb its DNA. By doing this you are able to Morph into it.

Sheet:

Name: (Self Explanitory)
Age: ("")
Sex: ("")
Personality: (What your character acts like)
Appearance: (What your character looks like)
History: (Why your character acts and looks like this. Plus they must have at least one friend. ((Who is kept vague)) Then when the rp starts you say which characters you are friends with and why you go through the construction site.)
RP Sample: (I am very strict on RP samples. You could have a 30 page sheet but if your rp sample is only a sentence long I will decline you. An RP sample is an example of your writing from another roleplay.)

The problem with that is that they are all connected, and due to the fact that you said they had rough days, they have no chance not to be bothered. Further, you won't allow loners- they have no friends. Not to mention there are a lot of other morph RPG's already- I'd probably wait for at least one or two of them to die off to post that.

There isn't a problem with there being two to three billion RPs with Pokemorphs as long as the plot works, but I understand what you mean on the connections, Brad.

Yes, some people like to be loners. Though it probably wouldn't be a problem for them to have connections, I'd bet others still like to play loners. Take the book for example (and forgive me for having brief knowledge on Animorphs (I read the megamoprhs or something and a few of the books after the first four books which I did not read)).

What is to my knowledge is that Whatshisface that gets stuck as a red tailed hawk was in fact a loner. I'm not too sure, but this is based on the character interactions I've read them have. I can't even go back to them and try to remember because I don't have the books with me.

Yeah, that's pretty much the only example I've got, so let's go on with the plot itself. >.>

Though I know this is based off the animorphs series, I don't believe that the animorphs books should be used as a template as you planned, but more of a basis of how the story begins. I'm only saying this because you say it starts at a construction site, the books keep reffering to that, you know?

Rather, a better idea may be to have a secluded neighborhood that all the RPers go to (because, all RPers live in this neighborhood). This way, they don't really have to know each other. Maybe they see them sometimes outside their houses, but they are not really "friends" unless they decide they do want to be friends.

Now the reason I call this a secluded neighborhood was to have almost no one but the people who live there around. Then comes whatever it is that comes, and because only the neighborhood alone could see it (because it's so far off to other neighborhoods), the RPers decide to check it out. They don't even have to react to each other and just be surprised that others are going to see the site.

Now we have an RP where not everyone has to be connected (just a rough idea which you can fix up if you want to use it).

I'm interested in these kinds of RPs, so I hope everything gets developed and I can join it soon.

*sigh* Here goes...

I was wondering if I could ask a question..? I was planning on making a role-play here eventually I suppose... but here's the question:

Is 'History' absolutely necessary? I've had my RP plot saved for quite some time, and I can't really think a use for the 'History'... I would allow others (if anyone joined, that is) to do history tidbits throughout the role-play if they wished..?

If this was the wrong place to ask, I'm sorry. It's still hard for me to get the forums straight... and if it's hard to answer since I do not provide the actual plot, I'll be blunt; I'm afraid to.

Also I would kind of like it if no one knew about it until I was able to open a thread, should it be accepted. If you really need the plot, well then, I'll just have to post it.

Well, that's it...

I don't believe it is...

A long while back when I created a few RPs, I usually had the history section put as optional. Yet, everyone still wrote something on it. To me, history is only something to spice up the RP, but sometimes RP game masters will require it for RP reasons. If you have a history section, I don't think it'll hurt more than add to further maximum RP fun.

Well now, I'm sure this comes to an astonishing surprise to you all, but yet another Naruto based RP rises from the depths of the grave ;;>.>

BTW: I'd like to say that my previous RP's don't die when activity fades, meaning; I don't just delete those plots and move on. In fact, you all may be in for a bit of a surprise later on...Or maybe not ;o [Explodes] Alright, on to the RP.

Homecoming Exodus
[Pending Name]

Deep within the hidden leaf forest lie secrets of past events. Some, worthy of being remembered honorably, while others are dreaded by the thought. One story, in which the forest protects, is the tale of six shinobi whom consumed their time into researching a process to gain power. After four years, they crossed a potion that would grant them titanic power. They then looked to one of their female members to obtain the ingredients from her clan, who, at the time were the best location for finding additives. Now in possession of the correct ingredients, the six carried them to the hidden leaf forest, where they would commence with their process, but before they were able to add the last piece of the mixture, they were ambushed by the Anbu black ops, who stopped their operation. It seems that one of the members of Kango, the clan the girl was apart of, had reported that the six shinobi had been acting suspiciously, and using odd factors for some type of potion.

After a couple days of confinement, the group was escorted by the Anbu to the Third Hokage. He had explained the situation and gave them two choices, to either go to prison for ten years, or leave Konoha, and never to return. They had chosen to leave entirely, and so they packed their belongings to leave. Once ready, they were taken to Konoha's gates, where they began their exodus. It had been a while since leaving, but the kunoichi who obtained the ingredients had been attacked by quilt, so much that she ran back for Konoha, the other five, allowing her to leave without second thoughts. As she entered the gates, she was stormed by the Anbu yet again, being tied, and taken back to the Hokage. The girl had explained her situation and how she would rather spend time atoning for her crime than hide from it. The Third had hailed pity on the girl after realizing her strength in leaving her friends who walked down a bad path, and instead, took the right, and decreased her time to five years.

Through those five years in jail, Kagetsu (the girl) endlessly thought of her betrayal on her friends, who she spent the best and worst times of her life with, but on that final day in prison, the guard had taken her to a room inhabited by an old man planted on a wooden chair with a box on his lap. Kagetsu sat upon the chair facing the man and awaited his words. The elder handed her the box and explained that she would be the last member of Kango very soon, for Kagetsu and the elder were the last living members, but he was expected to die fairly soon. The reason for this decrease in the people on Kango was due to an attack from rouge ninja who also stole ingredients for the potion that Kagetsu and her friends attempted long ago. Once the box was opened, Kagetsu noticed that it was her family's secret to a forbidden jutsu, but the thought of being the last of Kango haunted her mind completely.

The day of Kagetsu's release was a breath of fresh air. Though, all she thought of was that she was the only one of Kango and could be targeted by the rouge ninja, whether they truly were her friends or not, but she took her necklace that the elder gave her, and walked onward into the new world.

-Role-

In recent days, reports have sprouted, announcing that sightings of strange figures outside of Konoha are circling the village at mid-night. It's unaware of the situation, but precautions are slowly being taken to withstand an ambush from enemies, but until there is proof of enemy plans, the event will not be dealt with dramatically. For the moment, The Fifth Hokage has given two genin teams the mission to search the area where people have seen these "shadows", as they are seen to the witness'. You are a member of one of these teams, your mission has been stated and you are to head out immediately.

-My Sign Up-

Name: Yomosugara Gingitsune

Age: 14

Gender: Male ♂

Personality: Yomosugara, usually being called "Yomo", is an amazingly quirky person, his mood possessing the abnormality of going one way or the other depending on the situation at hand. When events that give Yomo the sense of happiness, he can be a fairly lighthearted human-being. Although, when an unfortunate event appears, forcing Yomo to be angry, he will be the most wicked beast on earth. With this feature, Yomosugara can also be a quite comical character, being both witty and zany.

After an unpredictable event occurred as a child, Yomo has chosen to always protect his friends, no matter what it takes, even if his own life is taken in the process. He generally prefers the night rather than the day. Yomo loves that during the middle of the night, the streets are unpredictable. There are so many possibilities, such as whether there will be noise, or just silence, someone waiting around the corner, or just a wall. The possibilities are nearly endless through his eyes.

Description: Lets begin from top to bottom. Yomo's dark brown, straight, and glossy hair rains over his forehead, the ends reaching over his eye brows. Upon his sleek face are dark brown, semi-beady eyes, a baby-like curved nose, and his ears hidden by his hair. As well Yomo's skin tone is a light brown. Over his decently built chest, Yomo wears a white T-shirt with a Fennec's tail curving upward. Over the shirt, Yomo has a collared, and buttoned, short-sleeved jacked. This jacket has blue lines stretching in a nearly graph-like pattern, with white marks between the gaps appearing almost as one would view a star in the night. Yomo's pants are dark black, covering most of his blue ninja shoes.

-Ninjutsu-

1. Ensho-no Jutsu (Heat Wave Jutsu) [ Yomosugara combines the heat stored within his body with his chakra. He then exerts the heat through the palms of his hands in waves of heat that reach throughout the area for about ten feet.]

2. Hottosupotto (Hot Spot) [ Yomo creates a nearly invisible circular sphere where if the enemy comes within three feet to Yomo, they will begin to become hot, the longer they stay in, the more chance of gaining risky burns.]

3.

4.

-Taijutsu-

1. Enkou Hira (Flame Palm) [ Yomosugara motions the heat in his body to his hands and begins to attack the opponent, leaving slight burns on their body. The more hits in the spot, the more the burn will increase. ]

2.

3.

-Genjutsu-

1. Ware Akkei (Self Trick) [ Yomosugara performs a genjutsu upon himself. In the world he creates, it fools his mind into believing that is the middle of the night, and the heat rises. Depending on the user's skill level, the heat will either rise quicker, or slower. During the genjutsu, the user only uses their high leveled hearing to predict the enemy's location. This jutsu is usually used during the day, when Gingitsune repel the heat of the sun, using this procedure as a trickery to gain more heat.

2.
------------

History: Five years ago, Yomosugara had a best friend, Byakko, a girl his age, also planning to be in the ninja academy along side Yomo. The two were so close, the always kept each other's backs, and even helped one another when they had a task meant only for them. Then came the day that their friendship would be severed forever. It was the day before they were supposed to join the academy. Byakku had learned of a special technique that their clan kept hidden from the younger shinobi until they became jounin. It's name was "Ware Akkei", she was informed by a rouge member of the family of it's powers and even taught her it's basics. Byakku then trained Yomo how to perform it as well, but during the training, the two were attacked by one of their clan's superiors. Children were not allowed to perform jutsu's meant for higher leveled shinobi. Byakku had taken the blame for Yomo that day, enforcing double the punishment upon herself in order to protect Yomo, who failed to understand why she would do such a thing if the both of them would be able to stay together. Due to the double punishment of performing a jutsu for jounin, she was sentenced to death. The strict rules of the Gingitsune had always angered the members of the clan, but they could never do anything about it. Yomo nearly received his own sentence by attempting to stop the death penalty, but he was stopped by a guard. Time slowly passed as Yomo watched his best friend die in front of his eyes. Before dieing, Byakku had looked into Yomo's eyes and smiled. It wasn't until Yomo had turned thirteen that he understood why Byakku had done what she did. Even though it forced more pain upon herself, she'd rather be hurt in the process than see her friend suffer, but being unable to do the same for her, Yomo had always regretted being so weak, and so, he did double the work in the ninja academy to serve for Byakku. Since then, Yomo's motto has been, "Double your purpose and double your effort."

Name: Gingitsune

Description: The Gingitsune clan is not only known by it's strict rules, but mostly for it's wealth in furs, creating coats upon many other clothing and items. As well, clan members are quite fond of using fire based attacks. Although, in this clan, some jutsus are only accessible through meeting a certain level in their training.

Bloodline: Eibunni (Emperor's Hearing) [ User is able to hear the most silent of noises, even things walking on sand ]

Technique: Enkou Hira (Flame Palm), Ensho-no Jutsu (Heat Wave Jutsu)

once again... you've got me :D i'll make a different Ninja of course. The plot seems fairly solid

I was thinking of adding eaither a DeathNote Rp... or going for an orignal score... but the thing is... both practicly distroy orginized religion... I don't know how easily offended you guys are anymore so... I'm just going to ask....

if I put an RP that has religion as the base plot, will you guys be offended?

-JBCBlank

@JBCBlack: I personally wouldn't be offended, and to be honest, I think only if your a very religious person, you would be. I'd actually like to see a religious RP, I might even join if I like the story, even if it was a different religion than my own :\ As long as there isn't any major bashing of other religions, I think you'll be fine.

@Kansas: Alright, I guess I'll save you a spot once I get the RP rolling. ;]
