The Dragon's Den V.4

So I think we need a new topic. Actually, we haven't exactly had a vote in a while.

But for now, which dragons would you consider the most evil and most heroic?

As for what I'd say, I wouldn't consider Giratina evil, because the Pokedex says it was banished for being too violent (or something along those lines). I would consider Tyranitar evil, since it actually has the dark type in it. I think that the Lati's could be the heroic ones, or even Rayquaza.

Well I consider Palkia and Dialga evil!
In fact I hate them and I agree that ve should vote(kick them out)!
And most heroic, I'd say Lati's and my beloved Dragonite!

Evil= Salamance, Dialga, Rayquaza, Palkia, Giratina

Heroic= Dragonite, Latios, Latias.

I'm afraid I'm having to go with Dragonite as "heroic", after all, look at its' pokedex entries:

"It is said that this Pokémon constantly flies over the immense seas and rescues drowning people."

"It is said to make its home somewhere in the sea. It guides crews of shipwrecks to shore."

Lugia is another:

"It is said that it quietly spends its time deep at the bottom of the sea because its powers are too strong."

"It is said to be the guardian of the seas. It is rumored to have been seen on the night of a storm."

Tyranitar has to be bad, by this:

"Extremely strong, it can change the landscape. It has an insolent nature that makes it not care about others."

Salamence, I don't think is either heroic or evil. I think it's so uncontrollable and violent because it's so extremely happy at finally flying, but can't control its' powers.

Gyarados is like Tyranitar:

"It has an extremely aggressive nature. The Hyper Beam it shoots from its mouth totally incinerates all targets."

"Rarely seen in the wild. Huge and vicious, it is capable of destroying entire cities in a rage."

"It is an extremely vicious and violent Pokémon. When humans begin to fight, it will appear and burn everything to the ground with intensely hot flames."

Although it could be, by the last entry listed above, simply trying to get us all to quit (luckily, Milotic was invented some time, enabling some conflicts to be calmed non-violently. And for all others, there's pokedex holders).

Heroic Dragons: Lati's, Dragonite, Charizard, and my beautiful Salamence <333

Evil Dragons: Giratina, Gyrados and Aerodactyl

<333

A species of Pokémon can't be good or evil by design; an individual can, but I'm not gonna discriminate an entire kind of Pokémon based on looks. Gyarados may look like a bad guy, but isn't he just looking for food and protecting it's territory? Is a bear evil? Is a shark evil? Carnivores, yes, and potentially dangerous, but to call that evil.... The only beings capable of being evil are those with a conscience, or if I may, intelligent beings. Dragonair and Dragonite, Flygon, Latias and Latios... Maybe Rayquaza, Dialga and Palkia and Giratina, though I'm not sure whether they are conscientious or not. Dialga and Palkia seem fairly neutral tome, and I don't believe that lore about Giratina being banished, he was always there. And to be hones, Rayquaza is probably just a big brute like Gyarados.

Rant over. Professor Layton and the Unwound Future made me cry three times in total.

tkallab is right, I think Pokémon are neutral and most of their "evil" deeds are because they are either innocent pranks that got out of control, that they are aggressive or because they are only obeying their Trainers.

But if I had to choose heroic and evil dragons, here are mine:

Heroic: Dragonite, Lugia (normal), Flygon, Lati@s, Garchomp, Dialga (normal), Palkia, Ononokus, Reshiram

Neutral: Charizard, Kingdra, Salamence, Rayquaza (normal), Giratina (Altered Forme), Kyurem

Evil: Gyarados, Aerodactyl, Tyranitar, Lugia (shadow), Rayquaza (shiny), Dialga (Primal), Giratina (Origin Forme), Sazandora, Zekrom

Why is Lugia a Dragon?

Agreeing with shininglatios about agreeing with tkallab, who wouldn't agree about that agreement?

Still, to be on topic:
heroic: lati@s(duh), lugia, dragonite, giratina(both forms, Shining, youre pretty picky about that)
evil: gyrados(if it were real it would most likely attempt to eat you), tyranitar, shadow lugia(epic looking, but evil nonetheless)

zapdos926: Yes, I was being picky, I only did that because either the shiny or normal version looked more evil than the other.

Lugia is a dragon for the same reason Charizard is one, actually. Discussion of a long time ago... But I'd like to point you to this file.

@zapdos926 Lugia is a soft spot for tkallab, so I'd watch carefully what I say on the topic! ;)

If that's the case, then pray my friend! :D

*in british accent*I do say chap, that is quite sad if it's a religion. *removes bubble pipe from mouth* elementary tkallab, that such a creature, as magnificent as it is, can not be a religion, unless you formed a cult. That would be even more sad.*British rant over*

(off topic) I just saw marmaduke, cute, but cheesy.

[fingerpoint]Objection![/fingerpoint] *deskslam* I'm afraid there's a huge contradiction in your statement! You said Lugia itself was a religion, *zoom* but a creature itself cannot be a religion! *taps evidence* You believed the defendant was referring to Lugia itself being a religion, because you were uninformed about this religion. *puts evidence away* Lugia is the Guardian of the Sea, it's only natural that some people would believe him to be a god. This is not necessarily a cult, because it's part of Ecruteak's mythology. *deskslam* These myths... *points finger* Known throughout most of Johto and Kanto!

That was fun. But yeah, there are probably some crazy people who would believe Lugia and Ho-Oh to be gods. I'd be one if I lived in Ecruteak city.

Well it did say that when the burning tower caught fire years ago, the 3 Legendary dogs (Suicune, Raikou, and Entei) were trapped in it; and it is to be said that Ho-Oh saved them. This could be why people would believe Ho-Oh to be a God. But I'm not too sure about Lugia 0_o

If you consider certain facts of the movie to work into the games, then one can say that the Bird trio is to Lugia like how the Cat trio is to Ho-Oh. Since something happened to the cat trio and Ho-Oh was able to save them, one can probably assume that being Ho-Oh's opposite and something of happened to the bird trio then Lugia may be able to do the same thing... But this is just me assuming things again.

Acctually Ho-oh created the legendary dogs!
Each represents something:
Raikou represents the thunder which ignited the tower.
Entei is the fire which burned it down.
Suicune is the rain that put the fire out.
