Lol. that's just the way that I like to do it. my bad. props to 649 for being accommodating, though.

Edit: Finished my run through Silver with Fire/Dark!

Screenshots:

Kanto was a breeze, especially coupled with the speed button lol.
After grinding my team to L62-63 against the Elite Four and a couple Rare Candies at the end, Red was the final fight!

Pyro EQ'd Pikachu, I switched Devil into Espeon's Psychic and 2 Crunches took care of Espeon. Blastiose came out and killed Devil with Surf. I brought out Lava and after a Sunny Day to weaken Surf, Thunderpunch crit to OHKO Blastoise! Snorlax came out and I switched to Kuro, who was immediately paralyzed with Body Slam. Toxic missed 3 times in a row so I had to use a Full Restore. Then Body Slam crit so I used a Hyper Potion. After I finally poisoned Snorlax, I had to use a final Full Restore to keep Kuro alive, then a heavy dose of Toxic damage + a Return put Snorlax down without a single Rest! Kuro was paralyzed, so I switched back to Lava when Red brought out Venusaur. After a Psychic failed to kill Venusaur, Lava took a Solarbeam, and the next Psychic killed Venusaur. Charizard was Red's final Pokemon, and he killed Lava, who had very little HP left, with Wing Attack. Pyro was my Pokemon of choice, and I had him use Rollout, which is 4X effective. Charizard use Fire Spin, and the second Rollout put Charizard down for good. Red was defeated!

Well, that's it. I hope this team is okay. Half fire, half fighting. Supposing that it's okay I'll start now. I read and didn't see anything wrong with it. So posting here now and as soon as I beat first gym I update.

I defeated 1st and 2nd gym, but guess what? Save was ok, but by a mistake I loaded a state that I made right after starting. Then guess what? when I reseted game and went to loading screen the save was overwritten by the state, making me go all the way back to 0:21 play time, right after getting starter. I'll try again later.

Sorry for the way late update, all. D:
In any case, here's what's happened.

-Kicked some Team Aqua buttocks at the Aquatics Museum thing.
-Massive amounts of grinding around the Slateport-Mauville area.
-Got a bike! W00t!
-Beat up Wally.
-Went back and cleared out Cycling Road
-Went even FARTHER back and kicked the living crap out of Brawly.
-Changed Kipper's nickname to Tompy (I suck at nicknames, okay!?)
-Watched the newly-named Tompy completely deconstruct Wattson's ENTIRE GYM. (Although that was obviously going to happen.)
-Temporarily taught Tompy Rock Smash
-Mizuko sweeped the Winstrates. (I seem to be on a roll.)
-I. Hate. Shroomish.
-Rested at that house on Route 111. ...I swear, that lady is a child molester.

I'm currently on Route 113. I plan to catch my first HM slave (Skarmory) soon, then the other (Wailord. Yes, you can catch one in the wild.) later.

I'll update again after I do a tad more, with stats and whatnot.
