First update on my Blaziken/Beautifly challenge.

- Began the game with a girl named May.
- Beat wild Zigzagoon easily with Torchic, and later named her Chicky.
- Crushed Brendan for the first time with Chicky.
- Caught a wild Wurmple named Doom Bug.
- Doom Bug evolved in Silcoon.
- Caught a Zigzagoon as HM slave and named her Enslaved!.
- Doom Bug evolved in Beautifly.
- Chicky evolved in Combusken.
- Easily beaten Roxanne; Doom Bug beated both Geodude, Chicky beated Nosepass.
- Defeated Brendan a second time, using only Doom Bug to defeat Slugma and Mudkip.
- Crushed Brawly; Chicky beated Machop, and then Doom Bug crushed Meditite and Makuhita.
- Caught a Ralts for Flash and named him Wally.
- Met up with Steven.
- Met up with Capt. Stern and saw Team Aqua Leader Archie for the first time.
- Defeated Brendan a third time, crushing first Lombre with Doom Bug, then defeating Slugma with Chicky, and then sent Doom Bug back in to defeat Marshtomp.

That's where I'm now.
I defeated all trainers before battling third time Brendan.
Also, you forgot to put me with the challengers, thenickel09.

Shucks I'm curious if it would be possible to use my current save file on Emerald.
I've so far only trained/used my starter (right now Blaziken) and Linoone.
Right now I'm saved in front of the 4th gym (Flannery).
This hasn't been played in mind of a challenge, but because I haven't found anything fitting for my team I'm not really planning to use anything else. I'm indecisive in old-games where I can't trade.

Since no one seems to know the answer, I guess I'll continue. Added the pics to attachments. They're a bit dark, since I had to turn off the lights to get a decent image of the DS screen without annoying flashes.

My second update on my Emerald Blaziken/Beautifly challenge:

- Battled my old friend Wally, the poor guy didn't stand a chance against Doom Bug.
- Killed Wattson's team (Voltorb, Electrike, Magneton and Manectric) using only Chicky.
- Caught a Torkoal for Strength and named him Thing.
- Drove the Magma's out of Meteor Falls.
- Battled Maxie, when I was fighting against his Mightyena with Doom Bug, he send out Camerupt, I killed Camerupt with Doom Bug, then defeated Zubat with Chicky and then crushed Mightyena with Doom Bug.
- Got an Egg in Lavaridge.
- Chicky evolved into the great Blaziken.
- Defeated Flannery's Numel and Slugma with Doom Bug, then defeated Camerupt and Torkoal with Chicky.
- Went in Mirage Tower to get the Claw Fossil.
- Defeated Norman's Spinda, Vigoroth and Linoone with Doom Bug, then crushed Slaking with Chicky.

I'm here at the moment.
I also defeated all trainers I could defeat at the moment.

EDIT:Update #1 on Emerald:

Started the game with Treecko.
Did the beginning stuff and caught a Ralts.
Trained Ralts with the help of Treecko.
Helped Wally to capture Ralts.(He is copying me)
Got through Petulburg Woods while defeating Team Aqua(or Magma,didn't noticed) with Treecko.
Caught an Abra at route 116 and defeated all the trainers there.
Abra evolved into Kadabra and then Alakazam by VBA-Link.
Defeated Roxxane with Alakazam.
Got to Dewford.
Trained Ralts and Alakazam while Ralts evolved.
Delivered letter to Steven.
Defeated Brawly with Alakazam except his Makuhita who I defeated with Kirlia.

UPDATE #1:​

I solo'd with my Hasty little buddy, Apollo up until I got to the Valley Windworks and got Triton the Shellos. I must say I was hoping his ability would be Sticky Hold, but Storm Drain is OK I guess. Beat Gardenia and saved in the Galactic Building in Eterna City. I gotta say I'm enjoying this challenge. :D Oh, and I guessed what type of Hidden Power Triton has based off of deduction and using it on multiple types of Pokémon.
