Writing on the gym leader thread made me think - what types do you think we'll see in Black and White's Elite Four (and Champion)?

The only types not seen yet in the E4 are Normal, Flying, Electric and Grass, so I think they are most likely to be there. And maybe a multi-typed Champion like Blue and Cynthia? What do you think/hope we'll see?

Yeah, I'd like to see a Flying type user for the Elite Four
A flying type Champion would be interesting, but what other types haven't we seen yet, such as, Electric? Or have we had that?

I think you may have just named em all :D
Normal, Flying, Electric and Grass... though, I don't like that lineup so we might get repeat type trainers!
Oh, and im hoping for another multitype champion! :D

Multitype champions are boring imo. I like something like Steven where there's an obvious sandstorm theme, but there's diversity within. I like a Flying-type champion because it's easy to get internal diversity in a flying monotype team.

Flying would make for an intense Elite 4 member. I'm really hoping for an electric one but when it comes to the Elite 4 I just hope that there's serious type diversity. I mean having Ground and Fire elite 4 is easy, you just bring a Water type. But if you have a Fire, Grass and Fighting. Now a water type isn't just going to cut it. We need 4 types that need maximum to coverage to be covered.

I want a champion with a full-out strategy that's difficult to just set-up on and sweep. Something surprisingly difficult this time. :D

Also, it seems we've been missing water-types for a while, which would make for some interesting teams. ;D 93 pokemon and counting in the type! Wallace doesn't count.

i think it would be fun if there was a double battle in the elite four, maybe even the chapion(s) were a double battle, and they each had one type of pokemon.

i also think it would be some what challenging to have the whole elite four be multitype.

That's actually a really neat idea now that I think about it. It'd be interesting to see because the last double battle leaders were Tate & Liza in Hoenn, and they weren't very well delivered. It'd be great to have something spice up the Elite Four, and I really like Double Battles too :3

I'd love an Electric Elite 4 member but it would require Game Freak to think up some new type combos or you could just sweep with ground and grass.

No more Psychic, Ghost, Ice or Dragon Elite 4 members. They're just unsurprising. Dark would notbe necessary as there will almost definately be a Dark gym leader.

The champion I want to be based on one type again, like in G/S/C,HG/SS and R/S/E. Perhaps a Dark champion, as well as a Dark gym leader (like Juan and Wallace in Emerald). A Ground-type champion would be an awesome idea too (Giovanni as champion = epic).

Charmageddon already mentions the only Elite 4 that didn't come are also Normal and Grass.

Some of you mention a Flying type Elite. Um, don't we already have one, Lance? :P *gets shot* Seriously though, technically he should be considered a flying type elite because all of his dragons have flying as a secondary type. Then again, if you go to him for a rematch, he has a couple new dragon Pokemon. :x

Actually, I would like a Normal type Elite 4. True, you can sweep them with Fighting, but there are endless possibilities of the types of attacks they'll use.

Totally agree with you on that. Seriously, Steven is like the toughest elite I have faced. Both Cynthia and Gary/Blue are easy once you get some good movesets going. Steven, on the other hand, has ways to dealt with you. D: Maybe there should be a champion like Steven-still has a type specialty but also has Pokemon that are different types too.

    someone said it already
double battle in the elete four
heck, maybe have tate and liza grow up and advance through the ranks- they did it with Koga (gym leader to elite four)

Well technicly Lance was a flying E4 all of his pokes are Flying type but he anounces himself as dragon.

What if, instead of focusing on the types, the Elite four focuses on Strategic moves, like, a Toxic stalling team, but all the Pokemon that toxic stall you, are walls, so they are hard to kill, Example: Shuckle. That would make for a hard Elite four Fight!

    simple this:

    NO SINGLE TYPE TRAINERS!

every member of the elite four has a diverse team of pokemon, that covers each others weaknesses, now THAT would be the true elite four.
