You quickly take out your Flygon Sandra, who easily blocks it. It then used Hidden Power. You quickly recall Sandra before it hits, as you're 109% sure that the Hidden Power type is Ice. Sure enough, the spot where Sandra was begins to freeze. You decide to ask your Delphox to communicate with it telepathically and ask it why it's pissed off. According to Pyra, Thundurus is angry because...
 
...he feels like it, not because he can't find a worthy opponent, he's doing it because he's bored. Your Delphox facepalmed, knowing that wasn't a really good reason to cause a maelstorm that would threaten everyone because one is too bored to grow some balls and move on. Your Delphox told him to do it somewhere else insfead, but he denied and thought on using Thunder onto the ship so it will sank deep in the ocean. Without any thinking required, you immediately threw an Ultra Ball -- the curveball way onto him while he kept showing his power. The Ultra Ball fell into the water, however.
