The Everlasting Pokémon Journey

... that something unthinkable had happened. You asks her for details, though reluctant, she answers that you need not to deliver the message and in addition, she snatches the envelope from you by force. Before you get any other vague answers, a headache follows. You pressed your impeding migraine with both of your hands, only for it slowly overwhelming your mind in pain for unexplainable reason. Not for long, you passed still wondering how it did happen and why she tried to do that.

Soon after, you felt as if you sunk into the deep abyss of darkness. Your surrounding were entirely pitch black but a single white ray from above. The shine was bright enough to illuminate a path for you to follow. You followed the lead, through the thread of black and white that constantly changes its direction erratically. Eventually, you found yourself heading toward a white gate in the dark. Its ominous and large appearance already gave you a bad feeling about what'd happen next. Regardless, you chose to open and enter the gate. You saw...

...graves. Lots and lots of graves. If you had to guess how many there were, it'd be somewhere in the millions. Were you somehow transported to a graveyard, or was this nothing more than a vision of what's to come? You haven't forgotten about that strange video warning the champions about the arrival of the Reapers. Was this their doing? As you kept walking, you saw a group of graves that made you begin crying uncontrollably. You saw your mother's name on one of the graves. Next to it, you saw your best friend Danielle's grave. Next to hers was Richie's grave. Ellen's was next to that one, followed by Steve's. You then see six graves surrounding a seventh. They are the graves of your Pokemon, which means...no, it can't! Curiosity, however, took control of you, and you walked to the center grave. There, in the middle of those graves, you saw your own. "Here lies Ms. Sylvia You." There were more words, which read...

..."she died because reasons". You immediately ran away form the graveyard and found a glass of water that fell from the sky. You splashed it onto the floor, which summoned a reflection of Mr You. You immediately asked him why is it shown that you and your friend were dead. Mr You shrugged and said "I dunno, maybe bad luck?" You then broke into a laugh because you thought he was joking around. But then, you then tripped on a rock and you dropped your bag. As it opened out by itself, a large bunch of everstones came out, which you didn't remeber buying or obtaining before. You...

... inspected the stones closely, only to find that they had engravings of your familiars. Not long after, the stones crumbled into dusts and a wind blew up strongly from opposite direction. The surrounding lightened up in white, but this particular white color were as cold as if it was snow. Things has gotten more bizarre -- the graves were no longer displayed, but the blizzard continued to trample you. You found yourself in a wide, vast wasteland without any borders in the horizon. The skies remained dark throughout, it was a completely desolate view through the pair of glasses you wore.

Before long, your body turned pale for staying too long in extreme temperature. Collapsed, the winds embraced you with a blanket of snow -- soon pilling up to bury yourself in vain. For being unable to stop and now wander around in the apocalyptic aftermath, is this the reason you died? You choose to refuse this gloomy ending. You decide to not believe in such outcome. They weren't many, but they believed in you from the start until the end. So to not disappoint them, you had to keep moving and find out the threat, put a stop to them and restore everything to overrule the unwanted result.

You wake up from the frightening daydream, where Richie sighs in relief upon your awakening. You...

...Slipped on a bannana peel and fell into a clothing pile. You tried to get up, but then you accidentally stepped on rollerskates and you skidded downstarirs to the breakfast table and your face ended up in noodel soup. You also accidentally brought your alarm clock with you and it rang, causing it to flip your head up in surprise and the soup bowl crashed down onto your scalp, and you fainted. Your mons saw what happened and laughed at the comical way you started the morning. You then...

...that there's nothing of interest other than the cake at present. This causes for concern, because the player wouldn't know how to navigate the game. But then...

...that you don't have much time left before the Reapers come. Genesis then summons hundreds of level 100 Blissey and tells you to start grinding. A few minutes later (thanks to a random clown giving you EXP Point Power Lv. 3), all of your Pokemon are now Level 100. You thank the Mew for the help and ask if there's anything you could do for it in return. Genesis says that all it wants right now is to return to Oak, but first, it wants you to buy some pie for the both of you to enjoy. So you head to the nearest bakery, where you see...

... a headache struck again, only that it's milder from the initial. This time, a glimpse of a future event appears before you -- burning the very image into your memory before you can take another gulp from an accidental food choking. From what you just saw, you recalled that...

...ask him why his Grandfather can never remember his name. Gary admits he worries about his Grandfather's failing memory but knows that his wife Skyla will look after him. Your Lilligant has never been to Kanto before and wonders if Gary knows anything about the Reapers. You ask him and he answers...

...that the Reapers have already begun their invasion. They have managed to execute many world leaders and taken on their identities. Their disguises are so great, it's almost impossible to tell them apart from the real thing. They can even disguise their energy and spirit, fooling even powerful psychics. According to Gary, it seems that the Reapers want to covertly replace all world governments before moving out into the open and beginning their attack. This worries you, as now you can't tell friend from foe. You thank Gary for this information and you begin to head for the exit, when suddenly...

... a knife flew through your side, landing and hanging onto the wall you were facing at. Surprised, you glanced at your back and obviously, you...
